This is our home away from home!! Found this place by accident in 2017, on our first trip here, and we've never looked back! This is our 5th time here!! Just amazing!!!
-UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE- So we just spent the past week at Sunset Inn, just as we do every year around this time! I've always talked this place up, I let everyone know about this "Amazing Location", but that's all CHANGED now! This was our 8th time staying here and our 8th time coming to PCB! But not anymore. We showed up to a room with the ceiling falling in, in various spots throughout the whole unit, every room had some type of issue! Our fridge didn't work properly, the floor had a huge issue in front of the fridge due to water leaking everywhere! The last 3 nights we had someone move all out towels, our clothes, and chairs and other items down to different areas, so several mornings were spent gathering up Our belongings from throughout the hotel!! I worked for 2 hrs helping the maintenance guy fix the ceilings throughout our room! The fridge was completely taken apart and then put back together! We lost all our ice cream and the ice we bought, due to it not working properly, plus the amount of water that was dripping down from the freezer inside the fridge area ruined several other things as well! My wife was in tears for most of Tuesday during all this, the maintenance guy never even finished the ceiling, he said he'd be back later that night or the following day to finish up, I never seen him again, other than to return some tools he left in the room! So even with working on my vacation at a hotel that I spent over $1,000.00 on, all the issues we had with the room, the rude housekeeping, dealing with some kids, or adults moving out stuff every night, Sunset Inn chose to still not do the right thing! On our checkout day, I spoke with the front desk about we needing to figure something out for the terrible week we had at their establishment! He basically snickered at me and said there's Nothing that he's gonna do for us! The most he said he'd do is 10% off on our next stay, and that by no means would I get any type of reimbursement back for any of the issues we had!
So if you have any issues with this place, they're not gonna accommodate you, it will only work out for their favor! I'm not the type to complain over just anything, but this past week at Sunset Inn was absolutely the worst I've ever had with them! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO SUNSET INN! I REFUSE TO SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THAT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT MY FAMILY! NO MORE!!!!! To be honest we've we've noticed a decline in the Inn since about 2023.
It's just incredible that housekeeping had been coming into the room, seeing the shape that the ceiling is in, and saying to themselves, that's okay, customers won't mind at all!!
NOPE, WRONG, WE DO MIND!
Also, several areas in the parking lot with broken glass everywhere, not one of the workers cared to even clean it up and make it safer for...
Read moreIF YOUR A BIKE OWNER DONT GO HERE. So monday morning July 1st, 2024 I left our room and went to the store on my bike. When i returned I seen my wife and kids already loading the car up, so I pulled into the parking lot knowing I'd only be there for maybe 5 to 10min, I pulled in the area right in the front of the lot with the white lines. Mind you most bike riders park here so we don't take up a entire spot for such a small ride. The area did have 4 buckets with poles sticking out of them but was not roped off nor did they have any signs posted that said no parking. When I ran up to our room to help gather our things and finish loading the car up we heard a car alarm going off and my wife turned to me and says ain't that your bike. I instantly stopped what I was doing and went to take a look, I instantly put my hand on my hip where my pistol was bolstered, I see two men rocking my bike band forth side to side. This particular morning I was calm and cool, which is not like me most of the time, I holler down and ask hey what are yall doing to me bike, the "manager" goes moving your fking bike it's in a no parking zone. I said hold on ain't no need to talk to me like that, and said you don't just go around messing with someone's bike much less someone's stuff at all that will get you shot. The "manager" then says I can do whatever I want to, it's my place. As I start to go down stairs he takes off into the office. Well we finished loading our stuff up and my wife went to turn in our keys, and then he decided to holler at my wife, which I wasn't told until we drove 3 ½ hours back home, now I don't know if he was actually the manager or not just what I was told by the other guy. I told the other guy it doesn't matter where I was parked at you don't just go around messing with another person's bike that will get you shot where I come from. Not only that, even if it's in a no parking area then have it towed or put up some signs saying no parking. Other then that incident we enjoyed the place and the kids had a blast there. But if I see that little bald headed fker we gonna have some words that's for sure... I don't know who the owners are of this place but I would check into your employees, since it's their place and can do whatever the fk they want to, their...
