As a retired Air Force veteran, I have stayed in countless motels and hotels across various locations, both during and after my career. Unfortunately, this particular stay was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever faced. Had alternative accommodation been available nearby, my family and I would have packed our belongings and left our two rooms without hesitation. When I entered the room, it was evident that it did not meet expectations. The promised sitting area was non-existent, leaving us with only the hard beds as places to rest. The wall bore a large black stain—the remains of a bug that met its demise and the remaining bug remnants smeared on the wall. The floor had blue stains of some substance still present, and the shower showed signs of neglect, with possible mold in a corner, further underscoring the lack of proper maintenance. The furniture was in dismal condition, with the legs and sides appearing to be gnawed on (possibly from a previous pet stay), suggesting an unsanitary environment. To our horror, the small, cold refrigerator contained a live bug crawling inside, which was utterly unacceptable, and the refrigerator leaked from the rear. Throughout our stay, I was constantly confronted by the uninvited presence of bugs in the room and bathroom, including on my towels, the sink, the bathroom floor, and the bedroom walls. This level of uncleanliness and disregard for guest comfort is entirely unacceptable and should raise serious concerns about the standards upheld by this establishment. My daughter’s room reeked of cigarette smoke (in a non-smoking room). A large trashcan from upstairs had rolled downstairs into the hallway, the trash contents in the hallway, the grounds by the pool, and the rooms. There was an overall lack of concern for the cleanliness and upkeep of the establishment. Even the outside of the hotel entryway roof was collapsing and damaged. I had asked the Front Desk Clerk about a chair or a possible room with a seating area, as indicated in the reservation confirmation, and was told that there were no rooms available; everything was booked in the area. She did have a chair sent in from the banquet room. I believe the room was more in line with a stay at an establishment in the range of $50-60.00 a night, NOT $223.91. In good conscience, I cannot give this establishment a good review or rating, and if Days Inn or Wyndham Rewards is now on this level, I'm extremely disappointed.

UPDATE : THIS PLACE IS PRICELESS..... THEY DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS DUMPY ROOM BECAUSE THEY SAID I STAYED OVERNIGHT..... I AM A TRUCK DRIVER I CAN'T JUST GET IN MY TRUCK AND DRIVE WHENEVER I WANT WE OPERATE ON ELECTRONIC LOGS AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANY HOURS I WAS STUCK IN THEIR COCKROACH INFESTED ROOM.... THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO CLEAN UP THE DEAD ROACHES BEFORE I GOT THERE ONE IN THE REFRIGERATOR ONE BEHIND THE BED..... THEY SAID WELL YOU STAYED THE WHOLE TIME AND WE COULD HAVE GIVEN THE ROOM TO SOMEBODY ELSE..... HOW INSANE IS THAT? THEY WANTED TO PUT SOMEBODY ELSE IN THAT DUMPY ROOM.... THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME POINTS FIRST IT WAS 5,000 NOW IT'S 20, 000.... THEY COULDN'T HAVE PAID ME TO STAY THERE IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THE CONDITION OF THAT ROOM..... I'M GOING TO BE ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT DAYS INN AND ABOUT WYNDHAM HOTELS..... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NO ACCOUNTABILITY..... THEY CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THAN THEY DO ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT THAT THEY'RE PROVIDING.... IF IT WASN'T FOR MY AIR CONDITIONING BEING OUT IN MY TRUCK I WOULD HAVE GONE OUT AND STAYED IN THE TRUCK BUT IT WAS SO HOT THAT AT LEAST THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS WORKING IN THE HOTEL ROOM... SO YES I STAYED.... AND WYNDHAM IS JUST AS BAD.... THEY SAY ALL OF THEIR HOTELS ARE OWNED PRIVATELY SO THEY CAN'T GIVE REFUNDS....LOLOLOL..... HOW CONVENIENT THE GUY ON THE PHONE SAID YES... THE WYNDHAM REPRESENTATIVE AGREED WITH ME WHEN I SAID HOW CONVENIENT...LOL.....Was told it was a smoking room and when I got here they said they have no smoking rooms. Cockroach on the bed, on the sink in the bathroom. A dead one in the refrigerator and a dead one behind the bed. I was told somebody lived there for 2 months before I got the room and that's why it was in that condition. Was given 5, 000 points toward a future stay at one of their hotels. Asked for a refund and they refused. I expected a little more from a Wyndham hotel

We have stayed here many times because of the price and location.(me my boyfriend and our two kids). Had many hostile run ins with the GM n am ed Mercedes all due to drama between her boyfriend and my boyfriends brother. She started playing unprofessional games like telling us she doe an t se RV our booking and having us cancel. We ende do up catching onto her games and only checked in when she wasn’t working. This morning we wanted to rebook for more nights for our home to be renovated and she found out about us booking when she wasn’t on the clock and she put a do no return under our name for no apparent reason. When I went to the office to have my key cards fixed because they weren’t opening my door she began her rude demeaning behavior or and used her power as GM to check me out of my room after I just paid over 300$ to extend my stay. Cussing and belittling me infront of other guests and my children. She made racial comments and I threatened to call the police and she beat me to it nd had my entire family trespassed from the property. I will never recommend not on this location but any Days inn for not applying discipline art actions to unlawful and unprofessional employees. Sherries were very understanding and agreed that it was not ethical and mentioned this not being the first call they have had like this. She is extremely bad for business and I will be going above her.

I wish I can rate lower! I envy anyone who never been here or heard of this place ! No pics available because i want nothing reminding of this .i wish will smith from MIB will lend me that device to erase my memory ! My experience was marred by a series of unfortunate events that began after check in as check was amazing smooth was met by a young man I believe he was the assistant manger . So Dirty ac unit ( leaking) and worn out Towels: Upon entering the room, I noticed that the ac was dirty and in need of cleaning. I couldn't find anyone so i did it my self was leaking and wires exposed the air vent clogged with hair and debris, which I cleaned Non-functioning Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi in my room was non-functional throughout my stay, despite multiple attempts to connect. Limited Breakfast Options: The breakfast provided was extremely limited, consisting of only juice and a granola bar. This was insufficient and disappointing. Worn out Towels and Lack of Replacement: The towels in my room were worn out and I used them to clean up the ac .during my stay. When I requested clean towels, the next day the staff asking me To collect my towels take them to the laundry room put them in tme laundry basket and come after an hour Nd get towels . Mind you I’m not coming back from out and want to shower ,then after hour coming back with one towel only one the staff was unhelpful and rude. Rude and Unprofessional Staff: Throughout my stay, I found the hotel staff to be rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. They were dismissive of my concerns and failed to provide adequate customer service. False Accusations and Intimidation: When I asked for a clean towel after being denied one, the staff reacted with hostility and telling me no only one and when I raised my voice ras to let it be known not to talk to me this way they started yelling at me and telling me police police in Spanish as if asking for a towel is a crime my god threatened to call the police. This was an unjustified and intimidating response to a simple request. Because they don’t wanna work the only one the bare minimum so they’re trying to hold it and keep it to a bare minimum of what the guest can use so they don’t have to extra work the full full on work. Poor Communication and Customer Service: The hotel staff failed to communicate effectively and did not address my concerns in a timely or professional manner. The only good I saw her was the check in employee and another kind lady that was at the front desk during this . The manager totally useless and didn’t know how to handle the situation,, telling me if his happens again come to me ! Like it’s Shouldn’t happen and you should have came and asked me what happened at me tryin to look me up and down sneak looks inside my room looking reason to justify your short comings . I have have everything recorded I always record everything while I’m in such places As a rewards member, I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at your establishment I paid for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, but instead, I was met with poor service, lack of amenities, and...

Hi I recently stayed at your hotel located at 5005 34th Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33714, from July, 15th - 18th And it was by far the worst hotel stay ever. I arrived at the hotel and the check in was easy, but the problems started once I reached the rooms. I had room 255 & 259 in room 259 we quickly realized that the toilet would not flush so we went to the front desk and at first they acted as if there was nothing they could do about it then finally they offered another room and that room reeked of marijuana and gave me a headache almost instantly and I also had my 1 year old niece with me so I wasn’t comfortable with her being in that room. So we informed the front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything so we just had to settle for the room with the non functioning toilet for the night and had to use the bathroom in our other room we had booked. The next morning I went to the front desk to report the toilet problem again and the girl at the front desk said she would put in a ticket for it to be fixed that day we even talked to the owner who was very rude and he just seemed to flat out not care about our problem with the room, also that morning ALL the water was shut off in the hotel and nobody was notified about it and me along with multiple guest had to go to the front desk to complain and once again NOBODY SHOWED CONCERN. finally we talked to another man who was extremely rude about getting another room and he seem to make it a big inconvenience because he had to get us a different room and the new room was filled with more problems like the AC was leaking water all over the floor so we had to always have towels down and there was a electrical socket that was getting leaked on as well and in the new room the walls were nasty and every time we flushed the toilet it also leaked on to the floor. And in room 255 some of my other family had their clothes stolen off of the rail in front of the door because they set them out to dry because we had gotten into the pool and we asked the housekeeper and she asked and nobody knew what happened to them that’s when we notified her of the leaking ac unit in our new room 258 and she said that she had written it up in the log for repair AND told management of the problem and she said she would let them know again about it and once again nobody came to correct the problem. So this ended up being the worst hotel visit I’ve ever...
