The problems started from the very beginning. Room 215, where we were placed, was in a terrible state: the door to the wardrobe was completely broken, the curtains were torn off, there was dust everywhere, and the bathroom was dirty. We returned to the reception, and they changed our room 207. But after the manager's hysterics, who tried to prove that the wardrobe could be fixed, the dust was blown off it and the curtain was rehung. Why this was not done before the guests checked in is unknown. In addition, as we already saw in the lobby, the manager simply yelled at an elderly man who had questions about an error in the bill. With shouts and rudeness, they gave us another room 207, in which most of the furniture was broken: a table, a chair, and the door to the bathroom did not close at all. We smiled because we did not want to listen to emotional squabbles and raised voices from the manager.||||In the morning, we noticed that the hotel had charged the payment twice from two different cards. The reason for this was some kind of system failure: the payment terminal showed a successful payment, but for some reason the staff asked to make a repeat payment with a different card. We showed the staff two receipts for the payment and the debiting of funds from our accounts. The manager came running again and instead of apologizing and solving the problem, he immediately started yelling at us. He also started waving his hands in front of our faces, behaved extremely aggressively, yelled at us and provoked a fight, despite the fact that we asked him to calm down and fulfill his obligations to clients. We were forced to call the police, and only after their arrival did the manager start to behave calmly.||||But the problem remains: two funds were debited from two of our cards. We demand an apology from the manager for his behavior. We demand an...

Check in attendant was very friendly. I wish I could name the man but he wore no name tag. He was busy. Checking the pool, checking people in, working with a landscaper...a very nice fellow
Room was good. Little fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. TV a bit difficult to work. Wifi ok. Bedside clock not working. Room layout weird....big chair in one corner, reading lamp in far opposite corner. Toilet and luggage rack were both so low to the ground, if you're tall, you'll find them difficult.
The little shampoo bottle had been set out for us empty by housekeeping, which I didn't know until having a shower and had no shampoo.
Breakfast had a daily rotating menu and generous hours (5:30-9:30) Breakfast was not a great experience because of the attendant. The attendant man before 7 am, was coughing loudly and constantly. No eye contact, no greeting, just on his phone. He didn't top up the food that ran out (bagels, fried eggs, sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt cups, coffee...) However breakfast had bread products, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice, fruit, cold and hot cereal etc. Seating area was clean.
Room was about $135 for a weekday in early May 2024.
2023:Returning to this hotel after 3 years because we really enjoyed it the first time, the check in receptionist wasn't quite as friendly as years ago but was efficient. Room was good. FANTASTIC bed and pillows & a superb sleep. Indoor pool looked nice (hot tub was drained and out of order). Air conditioner unit smelled musty, like a damp washcloth. A great breakfast was included: eggs/sausage/waffle bar/yogurt/hard boiled eggs/toast/muffins/bagels/coffee/juice/cereal/oatmeal...with great yummy add-ons for the waffles or cereal or oatmeal or yogurt (walnuts/almonds/cranberries/choc chips etc). So good! We will...
Read moreI stayed here one night on a solo road trip through the midwest. It's right off I-55. Great location. Walmart and places to eat in the area. Some within walking distance. Service was fine. Only interaction was checking in and out and it was booked through Expedia so other that saying hello and giving me my room key that was the only time we spoke. I just needed a safe, clean and quiet place to sleep and that's what I got. The hotel is a little dated but it met my needs. As of April 10th, the hot tub is out of order still. I had a first floor room. All other guests were quiet during my stay. Shower was hot. TV was maybe a 36"? Had decent variety of channels and was clear.
My only dislike was the inedible, disgusting breakfast they have to offer. I know free hotel breakfasts aren't exactly luxury but at least don't serve past best before pastries, disgusting coffee, literally rock hard bagels. I can't imagine what the egg omelette must have tasted like or the biscuits and gravy 🤢 I took the pastry and coffee to go after prying open the stalest bagel on earth. I ended up throwing the bagel in the garbage as soon as I realized how hard it was. No amount of toasting could salvage that trash. When I got to my car I tossed the pastry in the garbage and the coffee out the window. Do I recommend this place? Yes, but only to get some rest. Go eat breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts...
