End Zone Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pontiac Township

We live local and have actually been here 3 times now. Since this place is somewhat newer still I've waited to review to allow some time for them to "find their stride". Overall, every time we have been, the service has been excellent. My only suggestion would be to make sure the bussing staff are paying closer attention to the table stock ... when we were there recently, our table didn't have any silverware and the ketchup was empty (these are normally stocked in a basket on the table). The food was very good. We have (in the past) had their boneless wings (i would rate "ok"; they seemed to have a thick breading) and their pizza (I would rate "fair"; had a very slight burned flavor on the crust), but the burgers and pulled pork sandwich from a recent visit were -excellent-. In my opinion, one of the best pub-type burgers in town. Atmosphere is a somewhat typical sports-type bar -- full bar with lots of TVs around it and seating for diners around the bar area. And, of course in IL, it wouldn't be complete without at least a few video gambling machines, but from a family perspective, it was nice that these aren't within or super-close to the dining area. Probably wouldn't go out of way to go here for the boneless wings or pizza, but will definitely go back again...

The reason I didn't give higher Stars was because we had a reservation a week in advance for seven people when we got there they had no record of our reservation it took 10 minutes for them to give us two small Booth areas so that we weren't able to sit together but then 10 minutes later a round table booth of people left so we did move to that but the table we had reserved was right up front where we could see the band and be right next to the dance floor because the seven of us do a lot of line dancing we even showed the owner the reservation on the phone he knew nothing of who this person was that gave us a reservation how can you be the owner and not know who is taking your reservations . I came back to edit this post went there for supper today which was almost a week later with a friend because she had never ate there she had tenderloin and onion rings which she said was good I ordered a flatbread pizza with onion rings onion rings were good pizza was burnt on the bottom and on the edges it was unedible so I sent it back and just had the onion rings to eat for my supper I did not want to sit and wait to try to have...

I'm not local to this area, so this assessment is from an outsider's perspective.

It was strange to see how empty the place was on a football Sunday, but it must be new because everything was nice and shiny still. It looks half empty because there's an area between the bar and the entrance that's wide open. But since It seems to be a great place to hang out, relax, and watch sports and this area will certainly fill in with more tables as they become more popular. There's a big, full service bar right in the middle with TVs all around it, plenty of TVs that can be seen from every table. I had the hot chicken sandwich, and my wife had a regular hamburger. Both were delicious. The menu looks to be typical sports bar food. All-in-all, this is a perfect place to go...
