Verizon — Local services in Pontiac Township

I have been dealing with this location for well over a month now trying to get credit for a device that was sent in for a promotion. I have taken it further than store level and have been working with Brian Stemler. I have reached out to him multiple times now without a response. I am told that I will be contacted by a certain time and never get a response. This last time I reached out to him it had been over a month with no contact after he told me he would provide an update. Then was told I would hear from him by Friday night, 1/21, and still have not received any answers as to what happened. I had a phone on order in between all of this mess that I had cancelled because the customer service I have received is horrible. I'm not one to leave a bad review but every time I reach out for answers I am told that I will get a call and the call never comes. If I knew this is how this was going to go I wouldn't have upgraded and took my out of contract phones to another cellular service.

The Pontiac branch never told me when I got the phones that it could take up to three billing cycles for the credits to be issued. I ordered an additional phone and was promised two day shipping. Then 6 weeks later after I called the store to see if it was in I was told that it had been there but never received a call saying that it was in. No one has any answers for me. I have been dealing with this location for well over 5 years. We have purchased our phones, tablets, watches and most recently, home/business internet. Every time we visit this location, the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We recently added a line to our account. When we stopped in, we were greeted by four employees. They were having fun, while each in some way, assisted with our visit needs. Everything we needed, they had in store ready for us. They even swithced our contacts, photos, and apps over from the old phone to the new phone. When we were completing our purchase, they informed us on the companies "Community Do Good Focus". Backpacks for kids, food pantries, humane society, AMAZING to hear as a business owner myself.Very good people here and I would highly recommend going in to see them for all of your Verizon needs. I called the Pontiac Verizon store a couple days ago inquiring about switching our family of fives current cell service over to Verizon. I spoke with Cheston and he was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. He did a wonderful job explaining all the promotions going on and how trading in cell phones work. We decided to switch and Cheston went out of his way to come to the store just to help us and we’re so glad he did. He is so accommodating, friendly, and super fast. Everyone knows that it’s never a fast process when changing cell service, getting new phones, and porting over current cell numbers but let me tell you this fella had all five phone done in know time. I would highly recommend doing business with the Pontiac Verizon Store and especially Cheston who is a kind soul! Cheston thank you for the great customer service today.... Verizon is lucky...
