Our recent stay at the Lighthouse Boutique Hotel was an absolute dream, and we can't recommend this charming boutique gem highly enough! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth, style, and genuine hospitality that made our getaway truly special.
Nestled in the heart of Port Isabel's Historic Lighthouse District, the Lighthouse Boutique Hotel immediately captivated us with its beautifully restored architecture. Inside, the common areas are meticulously designed, blending vintage elegance with modern touches. Every corner seemed to tell a story, with thoughtful decor, unique art pieces, and comfortable seating areas that invited us to relax and linger.
The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They anticipated our needs without being intrusive â a true hallmark of exceptional service.
Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and tranquility. It was clear that every detail had been considered, from the plush bedding and luxurious linens to the inviting cleanliness. The decor was a tribute to the culture of the area, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance.
While we didn't get to experience every amenity, the cozy library lounge provided perfect spots for relaxation.
The Lighthouse Boutique Hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's an experience. It's the perfect choice for anyone seeking a personalized, intimate, and stylish retreat away from the cookie-cutter feel of larger hotels. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning...

The food here is excellent.
The menu is not detailed it is meant to be simple and elegant and that is wonderful.
There is beauty and simplicity. The art, effort, and attention to detail, and how clean this location is is something that is not found historically at South Padre Island, Port, Isabel, or in the Rio Grande Valley.
When I stepped in this location, I felt like I was transported to someplace different where the people actually cared about the service they offered. I love the Valley and I love people, but this place is different.
It is nice to see somebody offer customer service that does not change from visit to visit and the quality of the food does not change either. The attitude of the staff is consistent and beautiful.
I would give this location a five star rating every time for effort.
Certainly suggestions for minor changes might help; The first time I walked into this place a year and a half ago and heard the story of the struggles of the family owned business and how this family took a risk during Covid to build something beautiful, I knew I wanted to come back.
Please visit it is a peaceful location.
Thank you for your effort.
I wish the paintings were for sale. The young lady manning the counter is amazing and her artwork is incredibly promising.
I was in your location yesterday and honestly I looked at several paintings that I wouldâve easily paid between 150 and $300 for to have the chance to have taken them home.
Please put this artist work up for sale.
Thank you for something different and beautiful...
Read moreGustavo and wife have done an absolutely beautiful job building this boutique hotel and Cafe out. Using the best in finishes throughout the entire property. I had the privilege of meeting Gustavo personally and what a great guy overall! Gustavo made sure I was welcomed and that I had everything I needed. I booked through air bnb and the pricing was spot on for a mid August weekend stay especially not being on the island. This was my first time in over 40 years not staying on the actual island and I did that because I could save a few bucks from being beachside but still head over to Clayton's to be on the beach all day or a small drive for dinner and other nightlife activities and btw experiencing port Isabel has been pretty awesome with all the nice restaurants and shops around the area within walking distance. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and the beds were perfect. I personally enjoyed the big screen TV embeded into the wall. Check in was a quick and easy process via door code and parking on the street. No elevator for 2nd floor wasn't a big deal for me but just letting you know. I'm hoping Gustavo and family purchases the property next door and puts in a swanky pool to match the gorgeous Lighthouse hotel property! Cheers and enjoy your...
