PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS FROM ALL THE DIFFERENT SITES BEFORE YOU BOOK. This motel is gentrification at it's nastiest. This motel is a complete scam. They pretend to be a small locally owned business in Portland but they are owned by a large company in California called Vector. The room I paid for was called a suite but they are NOT suites, there are no closets, no shelving in the room or bathroom(the bathroom did have plenty of blood stains though)no dresser, no closet; just one room with a bed, chair, and small bathroom. NOT a suite. They claim to have natural bathroom products. The dirty used soap pump which was also broken was dollar store soap that smelled of pure chemicals. I paid for things that the website promised that were not there, food carts, fire pit, snacks for purchase, natural products, staff, etc. things that I had specifically chosen this hotel for due to it accommodating my disability. None of the things promised were there. And they refuse to reimburse me for these services I paid because I didn't complain in real time but I had already spent SO much time on the phone during my "vacation" trying to figure out how to even get into our room and I didn't want to be on the phone forever on what was supposed to be a relaxing situation and after reading the other reviews it was made very clear that calling doesn't make a damn difference to their actions anyway. There is NO STAFF. The tub was clogged but NO STAFF to fix it! There was a violation of Universal Precautions. There is only one key card door handle lock, no second lock or deadbolt to the literal outside, and a broken window screen. All of these things assure zero safety. The one "security" camera in the corner of the outdoor walkway might identify a rapist after the fact but your hotel sure as hell has no intention of putting preventative safety measures in use. ||It was impossible to get ahold of anyone who can claim any kind of responsibility for this hotel. They refuse any kind of refund for the false advertising. This was supposed to be a great experience as I never travel due to disability( I got six injections inside my abdominal wall in preparation so I could sit on a plane to even get there, I went through physical pain to make this dream come true. And I don't know how many more chances I'll be able to travel before it becomes a health impossibility. I took a chance on this hotel and they took zero responsibility for their shortcomings and unfaithfulness and have no intentions of making it right. I have gone around in circles, jumping through hoops to try to get any kind of reasonable response. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this trip because plenty of reviewers are all having the same issues. (Even though Vector had the gall to tell me they've never received this kind of negative feedback before. I'm not an idiot, read the reviews, it's YOUR job. Vector knows what's going on but will feign ignorance. I read a review from a year ago and one from a couple months ago about a towel hanger falling right off the wall. It happened to us too!!! A year later!!! They do not utilize feedback or follow up with this mysterious staff. The hotel changed ownership this past summer and it is now a gentrification fraud. Give your money to Portland, not...
Read moreThis hotel is a disgrace. We today checked out after some back and forth with the hosts who agreed to refund our second night after our complaints of a dirty room and broken facilities. We have now left and not only have they not refunded but taken part of our security deposit, claiming the towel was dirty (this is because we dried our feet after a shower and they were dirty already from how disgusting the floor was which had already been complained about) and that the electric sockets were working (they described a totally different area of the room from what we complained about). We have travelled America for a month now and this is by far the worst stay, near filthy with hairs on the bed upon arrival, floors thick with dirt and grubby towels. The ‘hotel’ provide shampoo etc but when we pumped some out, black gunk came out implying the insides of the containers must be disgusting. The location was awful too, right besides a train line and surrounded by homeless setups. There was only one area to plug in our charger and the hairdryer by the bed which we did and the whole thing blew leaving no source beside the bed and the rest of the ports in ridiculous places around the room. Finally, this place takes $50 out of your account without warning the day before arrival which they will keep part of for any reason they can make up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.|See pictures below for the pure filth that came off our feet from simply walking from the shower to the bed and drying our feet and the only source to use electrical devices next to the bed which blew and stopped working (time should be showing on the alarm clock...
Read moreKenton hotel in Portland Oregon @ 8355 North Interstate Ave. Do not stay there. Not even worth 1 star. I slept on a urine soaked mattress that was air dried then given new sheets for 5 days. I had a 24 migraine after laying on the bed for 30 minutes and a head ache the rest of the time cause of the smell. They have no permanent manager on duty and when I did talk to the lady she gave me an airfreshener after admitting she new their was still a smell. Plus I specifically said it was coming from the mattress twice in our 30 minute conversation. Then she proceeded to lie to her boss about resolving the issue so I was ignored for the last 4 days staying their. Then before checking out I pulled all the sheets back on the bed and that's when I found the air dryed urine stains. Two of them. Pictures below. I know it's kind of hard to see the yellow stains but they are there. I contacted them via messenger, it's the only way they can be contacted if you need anything, about what I found and they first said no one else complained before me. Then they said they would give me one night free and a discount for a future stay. They still have yet to give me any...
