So excited to have a delicious Thai restaurant in the Kenton neighborhood!
We called in an order for pick up, it was ready at pick up. Inside definitely seemed like a spot we’d be happy to sit in.
3 adults and 2 toddlers ordered: Yellow curry tofu 4 - this is their high end of spice level and it wasn’t hot hot. Massaman chicken 2 - totally mild the 2 toddlers in our group approved, this also came with pancakes that we’ve never gotten at other restaurants, they’re really good. Pad Thai tofu (just a note that a picky 2 year old who hasn’t eaten the last 2 Pad Thai from different restaurants thoroughly enjoyed this one). Spicy duck - oh the flavor is so nice, also not so spicy. Pineapple fried rice with chicken - SO GOOD, both kids just loved this dish. Mango sticky rice - it’s mango season and I just want to eat this every day, so authentic and perfection. Thai iced tea - I really appreciated that they made this at pick up so the ice didn’t melt while it waited for the food.
10/10. Very much looking over to the leftovers and future orders.
Seriously I’m going back tomorrow for mango sticky rice. This and a spot in San Diego is just like what you’ll find...
Read moreAbsolutely one of the best spots in the neighborhood! Came out to visit friends who live just a short walk away and this spot delivered the flavors.
Tried my friends' dishes and found everything to be at least tasty and honestly they had one of the best khao soi I've had.
The chicken in their khao soi was packing flavor and there was a lil more spice in the broth than some spots that I've tried.
It basically tied my fav spot for khao soi in the Bay Area....pretty neck and neck even though I do like the chicken in Sawan's better.
Cocktails are tasty and everyone is just friendly here. I definitely think this is one of the gems of the area! We had dine in and then take out a couple days later...it was that good that I wanted it again,...
Read moreThis place is really cute. I like how they’ve changed it over from the last business with a nice mural and lighting. As far as atmosphere goes, removing the old holiday decor and hiding the to go boxes and back stock behind the counter would take this from a 4 to a 5 star ambience. The service was great, the food was good. We enjoyed our dishes but I am one of those unfortunate souls who doesn’t like thigh meat so my go to Thai dish was inaccessible to me. That’s fine because the world doesn’t revolve around me, but does factor into my 4 star review for their food! This is why we take reviews online with a grain or two of salt....
