. I was so appalled with the level of service at this hotel and have contracted viral conjunctivitis and this is the only place that I could have contracted it. We checked out yesterday morning, 6/10/18.
As I stated earlier in my verbal report, there were many flaws with this hotel, which include, but not limited too:
I also included a picture of my eye swollen shut. Whereas; I went to an ophthalmologist this morning was diagnosed with...
Read moreTerrible experience! If anyone is considering staying at this Motel 6 DO NOT! I don't even know where to begin......I have stayed at other Motel 6's before and have been satisfied. I understand a Motel 6 is not a 5 star resort, and you get what you pay for type of thing, but at this particular Motel 6 I was legitimately scared for my health and safety!!! I guarantee there is some trafficking and/or other illegal activity happening at this Motel. To start off with the front desk receptionist (who was Muslim and spoke very broken English) called me in the afternoon to ask what time I was going to be arriving. Thought that was a little strange but didn't think too much of it. We get there and he tells me the room I had booked (which was a king size bed) wasn't avaible so we would have to take 2 queens. Ok fine not a huge deal. Then the price of my room was not what was listed on the website when I had booked so he had to called his "boss". They spoke in Arabic the whole time. When we get up to our room it was absolutely disgusting. Urine in and around the toilet. Hair all over the tub, toilet, and sink. Hair and stains all over the bed and sheets as well! The sheets appeared to not have been washed from the previous "guest". Went down to the front desk and asked for our money back. Said there are no refunds. It was late and we were exhausted so demanded new sheets and just decided to stay the one night (even though we paid for 2). The TV also didn't work and he had to come up with a "special remote" to get the cable to work. None of the outside doors to get into the building locked! We stayed the one night and left beight and early the next morning even though we had paid for 2 nights there was no way I would stay in that place another night. The longer we were there the worse a feeling I got about the place. Like I said it wasn't just a dirty motel; there is other activity going on there! Do...
Read moreI typically don't like staying at Motel 6 because you never know what you are going to get so when it was the only thing available in the area where I was working, I reluctantly booked a room. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found upon checking in, the staff was very friendly, the room was decently clean, the bathroom was ok but could've used a nice deep cleaning, room was quiet and bed was comfortable, the room also had a fridge and a microwave, which is rare for a Motel 6. I enjoyed my stay enough that when it was time to visit the area again a couple of months later, I willingly booked the room. The front desk called and asked if I preferred a room indoors or out. I had stayed outdoors on my previous trip so was hoping to get the same but there weren't any available for the first couple of days of my trip so I was booked into the building in the back. The building smells a little but it was obviously their cleaning products so I didn't mind much. This room was clean as well and the bathroom was cleaner than the one I had previously stayed in. The building was closer to the railroad tracks and being indoors, you can hear people in the hallway a bit but nothing too noisy. I only have two complaints about the hotel. ||1.The ice machine was down both times I was there so it would be nice if that was fixed soon. ||2. The beds in the second room I stayed in very apparently very old, no matter where I started out, I would wind up sliding downwards into the middle and I had...
