Went here on a whim with about 15 people and the staff was very accommodating. They placed us in the back area with two long seating sections. Only concern with the seating was that the air conditioner was not on... and it was very hot in the back room dining area. Was surprised by how quickly they started serving plates after the order was placed - withing only a few minutes the food was arriving. Ordered the lunch special Pad Kee Mao with a heat level of 4 (which is the hottest they offer) and was impressed with the flavor, perfect level of heat, and preparation. My dish was about $9 as a lunch special. Noticed that the entree my brother ordered was nearly identical in portion size to mine, but mine was a few bucks less. Dont come here with a big group and expect all the food to come out at once, a few of us had finished our food before the guy next to me got his plate.
Overall, very satisfied with the food, promptness of the servers, and how quickly the food started coming out of the kitchen. I'll also mention that the server, with very broken English, took and executed our orders flawlessly.
My only complaints are fairly minor, but here they are:
Ah, Thai Cafe, the place where I discovered my love for Pad Thai. This little gem of a restaurant is like a flavor explosion in your mouth, and their Pad Thai is no exception.
The Pad Thai at Thai Cafe is like a work of art. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. And the toppings? Don't even get me started. From crunchy peanuts to fresh bean sprouts, every bite is a party in your mouth.
But let's talk about the spice level. Thai Cafe doesn't mess around when it comes to spice. If you ask for your Pad Thai to be spicy, be prepared to feel the burn. But trust me, it's worth it. The spice level is like a rollercoaster - it starts off mild, and then suddenly you're in for a wild ride.
And the portion size? Let's just say you won't be leaving Thai Cafe hungry. The Pad Thai is served in a generous portion that's big enough to share (if you're feeling generous).
The atmosphere at Thai Cafe is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff that will make you feel like you're part of the family. And don't forget to try some of their other dishes too - they're all delicious.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for some seriously good Pad Thai, head to Thai Cafe. And be sure to bring your taste buds (and maybe a glass of water) - you're in for a spicy,...
Read more*UPDATE: Visit 10/5/21, Food is fresh and delicious. Red Curry very flavorful and Thai Garlic Veggie was very tasty. Service was good overall and lunch specials are a good value. First visit. Fast service, Fresh food. Seemed like the fresh rolls, while tasty, were on the small side, especially for $7. We ate them before snapping the photo with one piece left (there were 4 that size). Peanut sauce was good. The Pad Eggplant dish was delicious and good portion. The Thai Garlic didn't taste like garlic at all and the spice level was lite, yet tasty. I requested level 4, but it was like maybe 2-3 at most. Thai Iced Tea was good, yet heavily sweetened. The Homemade Coconut Ice Cream that other reviews raved about tasted like dairy milk with a lite coconut flavor rather than coconut, I didn't care for it, definitely wouldn't get it again, $5! All in all, it seemed ok and would try again. Our server, Philip was nice and friendly. It was an odd setup of many team members coming back and forth, either bringing drinks or food, yet only Philip is the server (says he's not the owner)....
