Save yourself the trouble and stay ANYWHERE else. This is by far the WORST Hilton I have ever stayed at. We are Hilton Gold members that travel quite often and Hilton is always our go to. This trip was no different. My husband and I traveled from out of state (Ohio) to Raleigh, NC for a wedding. It was an 8 hour drive. Upon arrival, the hotel was a total 180 from the photos online! The entrance to the hotel was filled with potholes and gravel, cones and other construction materials. I believe they are building another hotel next door (too early to tell what the building will actually be). The outside building looked rundown and dirty but with time, weather, etc I was just hoping the inside was still nice like the photos. The hotel needs updating badly. When we checked in, we had to change our room THREE times. The first room, the sheets were not changed. They were riddled with stains and the room overall was just dingy looking and not up to par. Little did we know, they would all end up this way. Second room, stains and dried up bugs in the room. Third room, there was hair in the toilet but by this time, we were so tired and fed up we stayed since everything else was decently clean. We ran to Walmart and obtained our own cleaning supplies and thoroughly cleaned the room to our liking (which we typically do with every stay). We are aware housekeeping is only allotted so much time per room so it makes us more comfortable to clean ourselves. Several attendees of the wedding stayed at this hotel and they all had complaints about some aspect of the room. One couple literally left in the middle of the night because they spotted roaches in their room! We stayed three nights in total (8/21-8/24/25 so you know this is recent) and on the third day, we’re getting ready and packing up for check out. All of a sudden we hear a loud noise coming from the bathroom. I get up to investigate and there is water POURING through the ceiling vent all over the shelf, onto the top of the toilet, into the basin, and all over the floor. THANKFULLY we had just gotten all of our stuff out of there so there was no personal item damage. It leaked so much water the entire bathroom floor was flooded to the point the water began to enter the main room of the hotel. We went downstairs to report the issue and show them the video, the GM was not on site but the housekeeping manager was there. We spoke with her first. While she was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience, she didn’t seem all that surprised to me. She went to go check the room and the front desk associate finished the process of reporting everything and checking us out. My husband asked if he needed to explain to her the situation as well, she seemed disinterested in the whole situation and responded with “I heard most of it walking by”. She stated everything was notated and everyone would be notified and handed us the bill. We of course called Hilton customer care and was directed to the claims department and spoke with a supervisor named Jasmine. We explained the issue and she initially came back with offering us ONE COMPLEMENTARY NIGHT stay for the inconvenience. My husband said that was unacceptable given the amount of money we spent and the length of time. She said “well what would you like to happen?” And he stated I want my money back because the inconvenience has been ridiculous. She put us on hold again and came back and offered a partial refund that would take 30-40 DAYS TO RECEIVE A CHECK IN THE MAIL. I was appalled. Never have we ever had such a bad experience with Hilton and it was disheartening the way we were handled. Hilton I expected more.

I usually book DoubleTree hotels because they're my favorite. I've never had a bad experience. This is the first time I've been let down by a DoubleTree and I can honestly tell you that I won't book here again. Overall, the rooms were okay. Nothing special for the inflated price I paid. There was a hair under the toilet paper rose in the bathroom and the room had a slightly musty odor. But the beds were comfortable and at least there were no bedbugs. I chose a room next to a stairwell in case of fire. Turns out you will need the stairs because the elevator is very slow. I am a Hilton Honors member and I booked through the "friends and family" link. It's been glitchy before but I usually catch it. This is the first time I booked where I didnt notice it didn't give me the correct rate until it was too late. Nobody at the desk was eager to help me resolve it, either. I was basically told that I didn't use the link so there was nothing they do. I was staying here to take my sister to a Twenty One Pilots concert as an early birthday present. The hotel is about 5 miles from the PNC Arena. It's an easy drive. I can tell you for certain this hotel overly inflates their prices based on events in the area. I went on the Hilton app for funsies to price a room for tonight without any discounts and it's about $50 cheaper. If you're traveling on a budget, avoid this hotel.. It was too late after the concert to go to Walmart and get snacks. The hotel lobby has a microwave (the rooms don't) and a small little snack shop that is WAY overpriced.. and nothing has prices on it so you don't know how much anything costs until you scan it. I got a cup of ramen noodles, a kids cup of ravioli, pop-tarts, a snack-sized bag of Smartfood popcorn, a Milky Way Bar and a Karma water for $29!!! Bring your own snacks or be prepared to be sucker punched in the wallet. I liked the cute aesthetic of this hotel. But I was caught off guard by the construction going on out back. It was fine because I left early enough but I want to warn anyone who needs to sleep during the day - you won't be getting any sleep between the hours of 9am and 6pm. When I booked, I was told breakfast was included. That's one of the most important things to me when I book a hotel. After giving up on the elevator after waiting 10 minutes, and taking 7 flights of stairs first thing in the morning, I went down the desk to inquire about breakfast only to be told breakfast was NOT included. You should also fix that because a quick Google search even says free breakfast. We left and got food elsewhere because I wasn't giving this hotel any more of my money.

DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh is easily accessible in Raleigh. Located near the East Coast greatest mall Crabtree Valley. Doubletree is a 5 Star 🌟 🤩 hotel. From the moment that you arrive and walk through their automatic doors, you will see the well layed out entrance presentation of the front desk area to the welcoming smiles of the staff. Parking is free, with no hassle of dropping off your luggage etc. There's plenty of carts, heavy duty type with wheels that's easy to roll across the well designed carpet. Best of all to our hearts Delight was the two bottles of water and 2 warm chocolate chip cookies 🍪 😋 yum, yum. I knew I loved Hilton Hotel Properties!!! ❤️ When you're in town or just looking for a place to stay, you need to book your reservation here. King size bed, big flat screen TV. Movies provided by Spectrum...I slept in from a Friday night gig to late Saturday morning. Breakfast served in their well layed out on-site restaurant. You got to go by 😍😛! Okay, enough about the hotel, what's really happening is that this hotel is surrounded by all facilities to meet your needs. Best buy is just down the street. along with some of the best places to eat. An inside mall with plenty of great places to shop and things to see. You are just minutes from being down town Raleigh where you will find museums, music venues and more. So who knows our paths my even cross. Well, got to run, just remember to spread some kindness in your garden as you go. Give someone a special hug and let them know just how much you appreciate them. Take care of yourself and be sure to check out my thank you video at the link in my profile. Follow me and stay tuned for more of my adventures. Peace and good will to you and your family. Ciao! 😎

I give this hotel two stars for being clean and well maintained. I cannot complain about the cleanliness or the overall physical appearance of the hotel or its rooms. The issues I have with this hotel are; the beds and pillows aren’t comfortable. The pillows are paper thin, and flatten as soon as your head hits the pillow. You need about three to even equate to a normal pillow in thickness. This hotel is NOT business or executive friendly. The business center is tiny, and cramped having three computers side by side within inches of each other in a small open cubicle. It was occupied the entire time by teenagers/ children. It’s also right in the front hotel lobby near the main door which is noisy. The actual restaurant doesn’t open until 6, and is over by 10. The options are limited and it was served very greasy and subpar. There is no coffee bar or coffee station in the lobby. The hotel itself has a small cooler of some waters and sodas to choose from with nothing else. You can either get coffee in your own room, or the restaurant (if they’re open) which is subpar. This hotel does not have any form of room service nor will they even run simple items like an extra pillow or towel to your room. The bathrooms are not ventilated and have no fan and are incredibly cramped and small. The hotel itself is inconvenient in the sense of being located at the corner of the highway, but requiring you get back onto the freeway and traveling at least 10+ minutes to find any decent food. Parking is limited and is mostly off the side of the hotel in their large parking lot which is poorly lit and requires a great walking distance. Finally, the sort of clientele here is less than impressive. It appears there may be some nefarious characters frequenting this hotel which makes it all the more uncomfortable to stay. The pool is currently closed and drained at the height of the summer season and there are no other relaxing amenities here. And their amenities like the gym are also subpar and limited. The room air conditioning was not working properly. The rooms are humid, and the temperatures fluctuate while the thermostat doesn’t seem to work accordingly. I would not recommend this hotel for a business or professional /executive trip. You will find yourself more frustrated than you are happy. I cannot...
