Mattress Firm is a rip off when it comes to on-line purchases. I recently ordered a full-size mattress along with a box spring on May 13,2020. When I found out my account was charged twice for the same purchase I decided to cancel the order so I can see where it was coming from. The on line sales associate I made the purchase with was Ingrid Morales Reyes. When she did the purchase order she misspelled my name and put in the wrong phone number as well. On the same day I received a confirmation that my order was successfully cancelled as well.as my refund was being processed and will be returned back on my card within 5 business days. Five business days went by and no refund. I sent an email to customer care as well as Ingrid Reyes I was then told that my refund would be back on my card with 7 to ten business days. I called the cooperate office in Houston, Texas because on the 19th of May I received an email from customer care stating that they were closing out my case because they tried to contact me but the phone number that they had was incorrect so they closed out my case. I also filled out the refund form to track my refund and no response. I finally called them.again today and I was still getting the run around from Angela at the Mattress Firm here in Matteson Il. She was rude and in customer friendly. She had no interpersonal communication skills either. I contacted another store again in Houston Texas and that's when I spoke with an Area Manager named Tom and he noticed that my refund never got processed which meant everyone I spoke about my refund were lying to me and trying to keep my money. Because I needed a bed still I decides to purchase another one and Tom gave me 20 percent off every item and free delivery charge. When I went inside Matteson store the sales associate Angela was still being rude trying to charge me more from what I paid before . Then she finally gave me another bed with a different price yet she charged me the price I originally paid. Then as I was making the purchase she tried to charge my mother-in-law an extra 50 dollars for a set up charge when she originally said it was going to be no charge to get it set up. If I would not had caught that she would have charged that extra 50 dollars. I'm currently still waiting on my refund although it's been expedited and should be returned to my card within 1-3 business days. Mattress Firm on line is a rip off so if anyone wants to do a purchase on line from them please don't do it because you will get rip off and their customer service absolutely sucks very unacceptable...

Annie sold me a king medium mattress that was supposed to come with a free adjustable base. 1st mistake, she didn't ask what kind of bed we had to make sure the base would fit. Mattress comes and the delivery guys say we can't use the base and need an another base that is around $500-1300. I sent the order back and went to the store to talk to the store manager Farrell. She was helpful with reordering and did take care of giving us a another base for a good price. However, we attempt to set up the base and there are pieces missing. Called Annie back with the warranty department on the phone, even sent her a picture of the missing piece from the directions, and warranty department says they will deliver it to my home. 2nd mistake, it was shipped to the store instead. 3rd mistake, it's not the right piece. So we are going on a month of us not having the right base for our mattress. So now WE have to call the warranty department back (not them) and wait for it to be shipped another week? Im so disgusted and just want the base gone, but now we can't return it since it was a clearance item. Why wouldn't the company make sure they have all the pieces to a base before delivering it to a customer? Now if something happens to me lying in that bed, is it their problem then? I will NEVER shop with Mattress Firm again. Oh, and good luck calling corporate. No one knows the number and they rather you chat than conversate with you...
Read moreOn tue.evening i was watching tv and the advertising of your holiday sale came on..I was surprised because I didn't know you were open..I called and angela answered the phone and was very nice,polite,and enviting, she stayed on the phone and answered all my questions even tho the store was closing for the day..I came in the next day early for my appointment and she was so sweet and let me come in early and was the best help ever.. I had cervical and lumbar surgery last year and wanted to use my tax return to buy a new mattress and power base that let the head and legs up as well as massage, well it wasn't easy But Angela made my dreams come true within my budget no less.that was my plan for the money that I had since mid February..But calling after seeing that ad and coming in that next day was a God sent for me.God will guide you where you need to be when you need to be there is the the way I felt after leaving the store.Super nice caring and helpful person. God bless you Angel and THANKYOU SOOO much!!! this means more to me then you really know....
