got there and the front desk lady complained about still being on the clock the entire HOUR it took for me to get checked in. Come to find out, her child had been asleep in the car for hours… which was sad to me and I felt bad that I was making it worse for being there. I was given a key and told “make sure the room is ok” which told me everything I needed to know haha. I checked the room and the bed was completely ripped apart, not even in the frame. The AC was completely smashed and it smelled like death. I went back to her and told her that it was not ok, so she asked me to check another room. Room #2 was not too bad. Only smelled slightly horrendous, but not as bad as the first, but the AC unit was ripped out of the wall and completely missing. I cracked up and walked back to the lady where she flipped out and spent 25 minutes just clicking on her computer looking for a room. She decided we would just go hunt one down. By this point, I was completely over it and had already decided to leave, but the room was already booked and paid for by a client so I just let her finish the check in process. We find a room that had sheets. The AC worked but was a little broke. She opened the fridge, looked at me blankly for a second and said “I wouldn’t use that if I were you.” The smell was nauseating and felt like a health risk. I decided there was no way I could risk breathing it in all night. The shower had decades of mold buildup. The light switches and outlets looked like the were covered in human feces. The entire establishment screamed bed bugs. I couldn’t risk it, so I just drove the 5 hours home 🤷♂️ I’m aware I sound very privileged and entitled saying all of this, but I swear I’m not just complaining just for the fun of it. I really felt I was gonna leave there with bed bugs and a respiratory infection… and definitely without a shower 😬🤣
Truthfully, the lady at the front desk was being as considerate as she could be. Read more⚠️DONT STOP HERE⚠️ READ THE REAL REVIEWS⚠️ I would be lying if I said the 5-star reviews match the energy of this so-called hotel. I wished I would have read the reviews BEFORE spending any type of money here. We stayed for 1 week and felt so uncomfortable. The mattresses were disgusting. We couldn't change rooms cuz some rooms were being "renovated". We had to clean the entire bathroom and even after cleaning I still didn't feel comfortable taking a shower. The shower was FILTHY and I had to use my car wash brush to clean the shower. The fridge barely worked and we lost food after 2 days. The wifi didn't work in our room AT ALL but worked everywhere else. We were going to switch to a month and were told by a worker that we could pay the difference when switching to a month but the manager Michael said that's something they can't do and the person who said we could was new. So lack of correct information on their part. The property doesn't feel safe and has no sense of security. Everyone loiters in the area or is outside sitting in chairs in front of their doors which isn't very inviting for short-term stayers. Watch your surroundings when bringing anything in or out of your vehicle. The neighbors will randomly come out and sit and watch you. The power went out for 2 hours and NOBODY SAID ANYTHING. The office was locked and closed until the power came back on our assumption: THEY AINT PAY THE BILL (the only place in the area that had a power outage). Lastly, WE ARE OWED A DEPOSIT which I fear we may not get back. Michael's excuse was that "there was no money on the premises (despite accepting cash as payment) and that they were waiting on a check to come in because THEY OWE ALOT OF PEOPLE DEPOSITS" he asked for my info but I think my info may have hit the trash. Because he said that the check may not come until the end of the week or the middle of next week but ima be on their asses about my money cuz I don't play with the money I worked hard for. Read moreI stay there just now and they letting other kids run around they moved me 4 times they cause one room had blooded all over the bed and covers and they have bed bugs and had mold on the walls and smelled really bad they kicked me and my kids out didn’t give me a reason why and didn’t give me no money back to go some were else to stay with my kids they have people out all fearing the night but want to make a deal about us beening out and the person that was involved got to stay on the property and they didn’t do nothing about no one else they have a lady working there living on the property in a room there and said no one is supposed to be living on the premises that works there I going to have something done about that motel cause I got pictures and all of what goes on and all the bed bugs and the mold and all the above I got health problem I have a tumor on me went to the doctor yesterday and then the beach and I wasn’t even there and then they kicked me out and let people come to your room and jump on you and don’t do nothing to the other people they need to look into this cause what happened to me anit right they took all my money and let these people do this to me and my family and made my kids cry cause we didn’t have nothing to do with this and we didn’t deserve they way we was treated there I’m going to the news about this and going on the tv I want something done about this motel is allowed to do this and treat you like this I don’t think so at all and the lady is allowed to work there and scream yell and cuss at you and talk about people behind there backs and all the above she spreads lies about...
