Jukebox Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

We wanted some quick munchies type food after a long day traveling. We stopped in the Jukebox more on a whim than any other reason and glad we did. The Jukebox is a locals bar, complete with pool tables, dart boards, and bar seating. The Bartender, a delightful young lady, delivered up a couple menus and some drinks to help rinse down the trail dust. The locals were friendly, asking us politely about our journey yet kindly let us get to the main reason we were there, FOOD! They had a brief but varied selection of snacks to choose from as well as sandwiches, burgers and my favorite, wings. Ordered wings for myself and my wife chose their chicken tender dinner. When the food arrived, it was hot and fresh. The wings were crispy outside, moist and juicy inside. The tenders were delicious my wife happily reported. We ate while enjoying a dart tournament! It was quite the floor show. All in all, a nice surprise ...

Four stars: The staff was nice, and I’ve heard great things. Upon first visit though, the bartender didn’t seem interested in being behind the bar or servicing anyone.

It was early in the afternoon, and I’m a bartender, so I’m not judging. I sincerely get it. It gets monotonous standing in that cold box and making rounds with 3-5 guests. But I do genuinely feel like I would have had a 4-5 star experience if she had seemed interested in me being there. I felt like a small inconvenience.

I’m definitely returning for a second shot! I’ve never heard a bad thing about the place otherwise! The food is supposed to be crazy good.

For starters the atmosphere is awful. My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We were supposed to go downtown, however it was closer to us and we were exhausted from traveling. As soon as we walked in there it was complete chaos and bar staff were talking and pointing at one of the customers who was minding their own business. Shortly after this I saw one of the bar staff wonder over and proceed to have a conversation with the same customer while my wife observed another staff member talking inappropriately to a group of women about another woman’s chest. Blonde I think, extremely rude staff member and did not pay any attention to us while we were ordering drinks. My wife was so irritated we had to leave. I’m disgusted honestly.
