Well I recently stayed here ( May/23/2025) my niece was graduating for the Airforce and I wanted to stay somewhere convenient. This place has terrible customer service We arrived we had 2 rooms the check in process went good no issues one room was for me and my wife and the other room was for my sister and her mother in law. We checked in first and they went after us and got our keys and drop off the bags and everything was normal. Next day went to the graduation for a Airman and came back to bed woke up early for day 2 of the graduation went to the Airforce and then when we came back to our room with our Airman who we have limited time with. That’s when things got bad reception Sofia Ellis had removed access to my sister room completely locking all her belongings inside the room we initially thought it was just a key issue but come to find out the had purposely done that because apparently her reservation was for another property under the same management name. We had no idea if they would have told us that from the very beginning we would have split up and taken my sister there how can they give her keys to a room and let her stay there for 2 days and just lock her belongings and medicine from a 78 year old lady if she didn’t even have a reservation to stay there Sofia Ellis keep telling us to pay the 2 nights and she will give us access when they all knew it was their mistake they should have never checked my sister in a hotel she didn’t have a reservation for and then lock her belongings up we had to wait for a manager to come from a different property to fix the problem and his solution was to charge my sister less money when I told him what would he do if he was in my position and he was wasting time dealing with issues and wasting time when I could have been with my niece celebrating this milestone his answer was. That's your problem Sir. Unbelievable behavior I would caution anyone to not stay here there is a abandoned KFC and the area looks terrible nothing around please don’t let this happen to you and ruined a...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE!!! My kids and I stayed here this past week and our car was broken into. When the police came they said this hotel is notorious for car thefts and break-ins. The cops said that’s why the front entrance is closed off to slow down the thieves exiting the parking lot and getting on the highway. The cop also said if people stay here they need to park in the front because in the back are always a break-ins. I asked the front desk manager at the time why did they not let us know about the break-ins and to park in the front? Ortencia rudely replied that they can’t be telling all the guests that. I clearly said if they can check everyone in individually then yes they can say that to every individual that checks in. She then replied that they aren’t liable for anything in the parking lot and referred to the parking tag they hand out. I let her know I am aware of that verbiage on that sheet of paper but human to human they see I’m there with my two young kids a heads up would be the decent thing to do, to say to park in the front. When I asked to speak with Danny the manager she let him know and he rudely ignored me in the lobby as he spoke with some people about selling his hotel knowing very well I’m feet away and waiting. I eventually left without him ever acknowledging mine or my kids existence, no phone call, no email, nothing. These people don’t care, absolutely could care less even after I told them my trip to San Antonio was ruined because instead of taking my kids to six flags we now have to find a window to replace the broken one and have it installed. I cannot believe this is part of Marriott. Disgusted and disappointed. The photo is the meeting Danny the manager was having with potential buyers, he’s the one in the hat. We sat there waiting and he never came to us. After waiting so long we had to leave to fix the...
Read moreVery clean and well maintained. I stayed for 2 nights over a weekend. The front desk woman at night on the weekend was SO friendly and sweet. She checked me in swiftly and was always smiling and greeted me when I came in/out. I wish all hotel guest services were like her. The morning woman with tattoos was friendly enough but not helpful when it came to WiFi not working all weekend. She was also hunched over on her phone behind the desk everytime I walked by. I asked for help the wifi in the morning and two employees were polite, but of no help except to say 1. It works on my phone though, but I heard other guests saying it won’t work 2. Oh it’s never worked for me since I’ve worked here. Both of which are unacceptable answers. I wasn’t going to make a big deal or be rude, but there has to be a better answer and fix to this issue. I’ve never had issues with WiFi at other hotels in the Marriott chain. Used the gym, very limited equipment but it was clean enough and functional. Weights up to 30#, 2 treads, 1 elliptical. Pool and hot tub not big, but looked clean. Didn’t use it. There’s a patio area with was nice and welcoming. You can play bags or sit on couches. Open area reception/bar/bistro was clean and inviting. I didn’t have a chance to eat or drink there, but there were guests enjoying at night. Room was clean and AC worked well. Spacious also. Shower had low water pressure and it took a while to get hot water-not because you had to run it long but because the handle goes 360 around and was loose. Once you found the sweet spot, it was hot enough. Close to highway access. Overall had a good day and would stay there again if needed. Again, the night shift woman at the desk was phenomenal! I feel bad I didn’t...
