Title: Shocking Experience - Found a Screw in My Meal!
I had the worst experience I've ever had. What was meant to be a pleasant evening with friends turned into a nightmare when I discovered a screw in my food! Yes, you read that right - a SCREW in my meal!
First and foremost, finding a foreign object in one's food is utterly unacceptable and a clear sign of negligence in the kitchen. How could the kitchen staff possibly miss something as substantial as a screw? It makes me question the overall hygiene and quality control measures in place at this establishment.
As if that weren't bad enough, the staff's reaction to my complaint was equally disappointing. Rather than offering a sincere apology, they tried to downplay the incident, claiming it was an isolated occurrence. Well, I'm sorry, but a screw in my food is not something I can brush off lightly.
The experience completely ruined my appetite and, quite frankly, made me question the integrity of their entire kitchen. I couldn't help but wonder what other unpleasant surprises might be hidden in their dishes.
For anyone considering eating here, I strongly advise against it. Your health and safety should never be compromised like this. I cannot emphasize enough how unacceptable and shocking this is.
To add insult to injury, the only food that was discounted was the blossom and the sirloin I cancelled after losing my appetite. As if this could make up for the potential damage to my health and the utter lack of regard for food safety.
In summary, my experience at Texas Roadhouse was absolutely dreadful. From the abhorrent discovery of a screw in my meal to the lackluster response from the staff, I am deeply disappointed and disgusted. This incident has left a lasting negative impression, and I will never return to this restaurant again. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable and responsible dining option elsewhere.
*Update - they pretended to reach out to me via their comment but actually just ignored me when I filled out their form. Gonna ask my attorney how this is plan ok business practice and reach...

Never received they certificates I was promised, on 10/31 I thought let me give this place another try and disappointed again, My food was not ready yet so I was patient then I went to the window again the attendant said they were waiting on rolls but why would they send a text stating your food is ready, I told her that I would appreciate if they would not prepare my food until the rolls were done, she stated that rolls are made in a totally different area that she has no control of but it would be 5 minutes more I ask for my food and at touch the bun from my burger was cold to touch so I said I will have to wait for the rolls so I can eat it with my burger, waited and it was more than fives minutes got my rolls and left, hit home burger was dry the sides were cold and Mac and chs was a mixture of raw noodles and cooked it was dry and disgusting. Read moreI love Roadhouse, but this location in particular is really lacking. I'm from Houston but was visiting San Antonio a week or so ago and wanted to try this location out. We went in later, around 8 or so, so 2 hours before closing, and the service was horrible. Our server had a nice attitude but would just disappear. I'd ask for a ranch and it would take so long to come that by the time it finally got there I already needed something else as well. My potato skins never came until after our steaks got there when I had to remind them. On top of that, they were so burnt that the edges were completely black, so I had to ask a manager checking in to take them because where was our server? No idea. One of our two salads with our meal side came with nothing at all on it, just lettuce. When it came to check out, a little before I asked for a drink and to-go box, which also took probably 5 minutes for, I had already paid online and was just sitting there waiting for my inattentive server.
I've never had bad experiences with Roadhouse so visiting this one and having an awful experience was surprising. Instead of doing closing tasks right in sight of your table that has no drinks and is visibly read to leave, just do what you have to do to turn the table instead of abandoning them. I get it was 8 and they close at 10, but what does that change? I tipped 25% and did my part to be as respectful and understanding as possible but got bad service regardless. I definitely don't recommend...
