Bad experience. The only good thing was Shift Manager Martha.
My girlfriend and I wanted to purchase a display dining table (there were no more boxed tables). At Home doesn't deliver but had advertisments for Select Express and Logistics delivery service. At the register we set up our table for delivery...or so we thought. The whole process seemed like they weren't sure what they were doing. They never noted exactly what table we wanted, so I had my girlfriend go to the back and show the shift manager which we wanted. The manager made a note on a piece of paper, which I thought was odd and could easily be misplaced. She said they would take the table off the floor and we left.
The day the table was supposed to arrive, nothing came. After waiting past the alloted timeframe, we called Express and they said At Home did not have an item for us (which this delivery company never bothered calling us about, but that's a different issue). We tried calling At Home, no answer. We drove over and were told that a certain form (that we were never given at the register) wasn't filled out so the table was never taken off the floor. We were told that in order to set up deliver we would have to "return" the item and do the check out process again (which looking at the form, no you don't). But the shift manager at that time wanted us to come again the next day to handle everything with the store manager.
Third trip to At Home, the delivery company will not reschedule and will not refund the $100 amount we already paid because they drove to the store. They claim the store not having an item isn't their fault. But it's not our fault either...it's At Home's and they refuse to cover the delivery charge. Shift Manager Martha is on the phone with the Store Manager trying to figure out how to resolve the issue. Store Manager suggested 15% off but have us repay $100 to have it shipped...Terrible solution where we are still out more money than we should be. However, Martha saw that it was a terrible offer and gave us a 50% discount on it instead...but we still needed it delivered. Martha suggested Uhaul and at this point I just want the table to go from A to B. My girlfriend and I rented out a Uhaul and took it home.
The table was VERY heavy and my girlfriend and I are small. By moving the table without a professional delivery company and their associates, we put quite a few nicks on the table. Now we have a nicked table in our dining room.
Total cost from our pockets (table, delivery, uhaul) ended up being about $400 for a $500 table. Would have preferred for everything to have been done right the first...

One came from the hammock box with the 50% off sticker and another was a rug that had a 25% off sticker. One manager compared the prices to what was online and would not honor the sale prices, stating someone put a sticker, like seriously, I highly doubt that someone just went and put stickers. Then another manager,Linda, who refused to provide her last name since she knew we were calling corporate, embarrassed us, accusing us of putting the sticker. I then stated to my partner that she was the one who threw the pillows I was looking at back in the box. She then stated she had never even spoken to me. I am sure there are cameras that could show she did speak to me and toss the pillows back. We let her know we would show her where it shows 50% off and she said wasn't going back there and she didn't have to because she was up to her eyeballs in it. Normally, as a manager, you would honor the stickered discount price, but I guess these ladies need additional management training. Not that it should make a difference but it wasn't like we were just spending 20 dollars, we...

If you want delivery from here, they do not set up but will deliver. Here is what happened with my purpose.
But I was not told some very important information about delivery. I asked about delivery before leaving the store and was told I could fill out paperwork to have it delivered or do it online, so I chose online. At no point was I told that the delivery service did not include setup! This is important information to know before making any home delivery. My package was delivered today, the gentleman was nice and moved it inside for me, but I was told that I had to assemble it. Now I have to pay for someone to set this up, unacceptable!
