Southern Hotel — Hotel in San Diego

I had lived at the southern hotel 7 years. I am a disabled senior who left out of state due to a family emergency. I sent a letter with my new address and self addressed stamp to return my deposit. It has been 3 months and I haven't received ANYTHING. It was left in perfect condition! This is NOT OK to keep someones money who has limited income and has done NOTHING to have deposit kept.....

This is the best single room occupancy/SRO place in San Diego, and I love living here. My neighbors are nice, and friendly, and rent is very reasonable. The lobby has vending machines, and looks really nice. It's in the heart of downtown, and the landlord is very quick to fix anything. I feel at home here, and I think this is a great place to live while you're waiting...

I have only been here to visit a resident so I can’t speak for the experience of actual residents, but Tony the manager is very friendly...
