This place is like a hidden Jewell in a busy town. Interior Rooms - The Rooms are more neat and clean, Nice Cosy Beds that provide a relaxed Deep sleep and you will find refreshed the next morning. They always give Clean Towels whenever you ask. Breakfast (Food) - Yes. This place has a Good simple Breakfast for this cost. They provide Cereals, Milk, Bread & Butter, Muffins, Apple 🍎 & Orange 🍊 Juice. Waffle (Takes some long time). Unfortunately there is a limited area where you can't have the Food where the Breakfast is served, But you can take it to your Room and have the Food at comfort. Exterior - The Exterior looks quite old & needs renovation. But the rooms are Accessed with a Card key and they are Good. Car Parking 🅿️ - They have a limited paid parking lot in level 1 for which they charge $15 per night, Which is cost effective. But, the Parking lot is very squeezed to fit some SUV. But, if you want you can park the car on the Streets. Accessibility - This place is located in the Center of San Diego Tourists area where whichever spot you visit, you can reach From and To the Hotel at a Min of 10 Mins to a Max of 15 to 20 Mins. Which is quite decent drive to any location like San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Cove or any beaches. Overall My Score for this location will be 8/10. Thank you for the service which you provided & will visit next time for Sure.

Just spent a few days here over the weekend. They are renovating, so upgrades are still being made. My room was clean. There were only 2 things that I didn't like because it was so glaringly obvious as I got in. The pull out sleeper couch was dirty and stained, and the sitting or luggage bench was too. After that, the good things I liked about the room was that it was clean otherwise. Has a mini fridge, iron & board. Very quiet area. Easy access right onto the highway, minutes to all the sights. Front end service was great. Free breakfast, waffles, cereal, mini muffins, oj, apple juice 👍. Ice machine on the 2nd floor. WiFi. If you need a clean room and a quiet night's rest, this is definitely a place to consider. One concern I was kind of worried about was the homeless being around the hotel grounds, Not the case. I've been to a hotel where they were in the parking lot area and all around the hotel. Again, not here. Once they get their upgrades completed, this could be a go to consistently for me. I really love it's location to everything. Right off the highway exits.

To be honest, I did not know much about this hotel when I booked it. It was recommended as great-value hotel through a page for Marine parents. It worked really well for me and my family as we just wanted a nice and clean place to stay. We did not need the luxury (e.g., breakfast, restaurant, pool, etc.). The service was really good, the room was nice and clean (the bathroom too). The beds were super comfy! The room had a peculiar smell, not a bad smell, just a smell (not sure how to describe it). The hallways are not dirty but look dirty, probably because the floors are old. That being said, keep in mind that you are getting what you are paying for. Another thing to point out for people who are attending their Marine graduation is that the hotel is just a four-minute drive from the Marine Recruit Depot, and that the offered to keep our luggage after checking out so that we did not have to carry them with us to base. You can also check out late if the room is available. I would stay in this hotel again because of its great value, clean rooms, and super comfy beds!

If you’re visiting San Diego and looking for a hotel that’s affordable, comfortable, and in a great location, I highly recommend this place. My mom, younger sister, and I flew in from Broken Bow, Oklahoma, for my middle sister’s Marine graduation. We stayed two nights and paid $381.10 total for one room with two beds, which was a really good deal.

When we first arrived, we were a little frustrated because our flight landed at 8 a.m., but check-in wasn’t until 4 p.m. We ended up paying around a $35 early check-in fee. Thankfully, the staff took my number and texted me once the room was ready—it only took about 45 minutes while we sat outside with our bags.

Once we got inside, the room was great—clean, cozy, and equipped with a TV, refrigerator, microwave, and even wall-mounted shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The area around the hotel was very convenient too; several stores very close nearby literally within walking distance, and my mom, sister, and I were able to visit at least five or six shops nearby just by walking. Breakfast was also included, with just waffles every morning and drinks, which was a nice bonus.

The only downsides we experienced were with the key cards and Wi-Fi. for some reason whenever we would leave our rooms the keycards wouldn’t work to let us in our rooms and sometimes both keys wouldnt work( they provided us with 2 keys) so at one time I went down there and the lady switched out to me another card and said something about the internet connection or the cards, i don’t know something like that, which makes the cards act up. But after that I went to the room and the door still wouldn’t open so I just sat outside on their balcony, I even witnessed a couple having similar issues with their room door as well with the key card and another couple walk past and helped them as they had the same issue aswell. Also another one was the internet access basically ONLY works in the room, it barley just barley works outside the room, or just don’t at all. The service was amazing aswell so the day of graduation, checkout was at 11 a.m., but the ceremony ended closer to noon and our flight home wasn’t until 5 p.m. We wanted to spend some extra time with my sister exploring San Diego all together before leaving, so that morning I went down and ask one of the man (the young with didn’t catch his name with curly hair) that if would could keep our belongs somewhere , and come back with my sisters heavy military bags , so we could go to the graduation, and explore afterwards without having to carry all our baggage. So he was like yes the staff kindly let us store our bags in the lobby, including her heavy military gear. This made things so much easier for us, and I really appreciated their helpfulness. I want to say thank you to the gentleman who did that **if you ever read this

Overall, I’d give this hotel a solid 9/10. Despite a few minor inconveniences, the service, location, and value were excellent. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re traveling...

When I first arrived at the hotel the out side appearance was decent . The friendly customer service was great at accommodating my early check in for a extra 20 dollars . When I got to my room the hallways smell like wet carpet and a dampness . I entered my room and sat down on the bed and sunk in. Not in a relaxing way more along the lines it's a old spring mattress that someone put a weight set on. The tv was all static with lines going through it. Now here is the worst part. When I woke up and was making the bed I found a big bed bug , which i took a picture of and will attach with this recommendation and review . For 2 nights I paid 230 dollars for. The real value of this room I would put at 60 dollars and a location value of 80 . I would not recommend staying here . It doesnt look like they are maintaining there building at all . The 3rd floor where the ice machine is has carpet that are covering pre existing vents that you could easily trip over . This was not a good experience . This was my original review I sent them and asked to be accommodated or I would post this . I was refunded for just saturday night but I only stayed there friday night. The women said I would be refunded for 2 nights but after the whole situation where I had to call the police to get my deposit back she had said they found no bedbugs in the room. Only doing that to get back at me for calling the police. I would never stay here again . Does she really think I just carry bed bugs around and try getting free nights and headaches ? To be called a liar ontop of all this was ridiculous and they were surprised when I got upset . Told me to sign this paper saying I recieved my deposit back but wouldn't hand the money through the glass until I signed it . Unbelievable turn in attitude towards me as they act ignorant and naive to there poor management and prevention of these things . Just goes to show you how much they really clean in this time with the pandemic .they should of had higher standards and quality of service . Also it's been 4 months since the pandemic so they had plenty of time to change the print on the receipt that says free continental breakfast because thats also a lie . One good thing is agoda.com took care of the other night that they failed to...

This was the mistake of my life staying here.... I always stay at big chains, this time tho I was abit in budget so I wanted to try this place....The reception lady Feory or whatever her name is, initially was nice welcoming us and moving us to a bigger room for a tiny fee. However, the good ends right there. I reported flying ants and earwigs all across the new room and asked her to send room service to clean it up for us., She said she will try....then noticed restroom towels had yellow brownish stain on ALL OF THEM, so I reported that...next thing I hear: ok sir we can Refund you for the rest of 2 nights you're staying here, You have been very picky since you got here and you keep complaining....I'm like what on earth am I hearing??? $200 a night and I can't get a clean room with clean towels I booked 10 days ago?? Is that's too much to ask??? She is like we can sell this room to anyone in no time, we don't need your business if you don't like it here....I was just amazed by the response, was just speechless....!!!! The faculty itself is not clean, smelly and feels like a jail really....walls are very thin and insects are everywhere....oh breakfast that was the biggest joke of all btw; you get a muffin/slice bread and a cereal PERIOD!!!! We had to clean our room ourselves and just get by that 2 nights there....it felt like a nightmare honestly and it did very well ruin our san Diego visit .... I understand there is not much options on budget on this side but please go elsewhere and save yourself the humiliation we had to encounter at...
