The location is close to a lot of tourist attractions. You can walk to unite square, fisherman's wharf, little Italy and Chinatown. Next time I think i will prefer to stay in Hays valley where there seems to be a lot of good restaurants. The service was welcoming and we got our room early but had to wait for the parking lot. Unfortunately our car got broken into in the mean while. This apparently happens daily or all the time. There are lots of signs in the area that tells you not to leave anything in the car but be we had not seen those at the time. We were asked if we wanted to bring our stuff into the hotel but said we would just leave them until we could get the car a bit closer. It would have been really nice if the hotel then had informed us about the very high risk of someone breaking into the car in that area. The rooms were clean and the kitchen is well equipt. The feel of the hotel is a bit 'not modern'.

We booked with our club Wyndham points in the location could not be better. We are able to walk basically everywhere down at the wharf, Pier 39 and neighboring streets. The bus route stops right in front are walk right down the street to the trolley cars. We are in room 200 and it is very spacious, clean and updated. We have a balcony that you can sit out on. They offer a rooftop Terrace for lounging, relaxing or whatever you'd like to do and the view is amazing. The bay is in full view with Alcatraz and the Little slice of the Golden Gate Bridge. The service at the front desk has been exceptional, chocolate chip cookies, free laundry soap and quarters available for purchase to do your laundry, free newspapers.

1. Great location, easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, etc. 2. Rooftop patio is amazing, great views of the bay! 3. Parking is an issue. $35/night at the hotel IF (big if) there is space. If not, they recommend that you go to one of three other parking locations. The sheet with the locations said Ghirardelli offers validation, so we parked there. They do not, in fact, offer validation so we spent $40 for nothing. Had we known, we would have parked somewhere in Sunset for free and taken an Uber/biked back to the hotel! The hotel staff have no idea/information about it all either. 4. Rooms are big with a convection microwave, stove, fridge, etc. There’s filtered water and ice down in the lobby.

chose Shell Vacations Club @ The Suites at Fisherman's Wharf as a "use it or lose it" exchange for week about to expire, and also as a mid-winter "StayCation" just spitting distance from home across the SF Bay. Glad I did. Will be back.||Location perfect for public transit (bus, cable car, trolley), restaurants, museums, boat tours, ferries, and walkable (options include flat and hilly). Enjoy all the sights and attractions the City has to offer.||Staff are both friendly and responsive (front desk, housekeeping, etc). Not "luxurious" but very comfortable (big King bed). Kitchen had mid-size appliances (fridge, stove w/ oven) that are about right for a 1 wk stay, plus microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc. LR sofa "firm" to sit/lie on, but I hear it's comfy if you have another couple with you. You can go as fancy or as low-key as you like from this nice home-base for your dining out and in-house cooking. Living room is spacious, never felt "cramped" in spite of inner 1st floor unit (with nice semi-private patio sharing lattice wall with neighbor's house up the street). Quiet at night for sleeping... a bit of upstairs guest walking overhead on wood floors in Living Room. Some units have great views of bay etc. I enjoyed the relative quiet and privacy of my unit. Small nit-pick: bathroom sink is tall for a short person; and a bathtub would be nice after long days on feet all over town, but I'd still choose this place in...

Our home away from home. Perfect location, walking distance from Ghirardelli’s, The Buena Vista, fisherman’s wharf’s, Lombards Street and more. A block away from the trolley, you can see the trolley off the street, it stops right in-front of the resort. I also posted more videos and information on where to get the trolley and the cost on other videos, on here. If When we travel to San Francisco we always book the suites at Fisherman’s wharf. The location is perfect. The front desk service is always very helpful. The rooms are cozy, when we travel with our kids, it’s perfect the kitchen is fully stocked with all to make something for our kids if they are hungry. Big enough refrigerator, stove and sink. When traveling with my husband and I alone, it’s still nice to have a kitchen Incase we might need it, with young ones it’s always good. The view from our balcony seeing Alcatraz is the best. On this trip we stayed in one of the rooms that was recently remodeled, the wood floors and nice furniture was a nice change. The living room sofa converts to a bed. Our boys had enough room for both to sleep. We love Suites at fisherman’s wharf, our home away from home. We recommend it, to anyone who travels to San Francisco, nice, cozy and the best location. I have also many more reviews and videos of other places to visit on here google, and on my YouTube channel. We travel a lot and love sharing our experiences and...

We had an unforgettable stay at Suites at Fisherman’s Wharf in their spacious one bedroom suites. We picked this location to use for our city hall wedding and it functioned as a perfect bridal suite. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. A special thank you to Jomel, who helped us with pre logistics questions and made sure everything was perfect.

The suite was incredibly spacious, clean, and thoughtfully arranged—ideal for a space for a small bridal party to get ready. We were touched by the surprise gifts waiting for us in the room, which added such a personal and memorable touch to our wedding weekend. The beds were comfortable and most of the suite was relatively safe for our toddler to run around and explore.

There was a mixup with reserving a parking spot, so make sure you confirm your spot while making a reservation. The elevators being out was tricky to coordinate with all of our luggage, and the parking spaces were quite small, but both were manageable and the staff was so helpful in bringing a few things up for us. They also accommodated us being late with our check out, which was incredibly kind. Please note that check out time is at 10am (not 11am or 12pm like other hotels) and plan accordingly!

We’re so thankful for the hospitality and care shown by the entire team. Highly recommend for anyone celebrating a special occasion in...
