I stopped by this store because I placed a mobile order for In Store pickup. I specifically placed an In Store pickup order because I knew the drive thru would be long due to pumpkin flavors being released today. When I arrived, the door was locked and there was a sign saying only the drive thru was open. The line was wrapped around the parking lot, but I could see my drink was being made and I was able to select In Store pickup. I called the store to cancel as I was in a time crunch, and they said I had to call 1-800-STARBUCKS to get a refund.
I just found the whole thing a bit ridiculous, if you're not going to open your doors, you really need to work with Starbucks to prevent in store ordering in the app. There might be customers without cars, or may get false hope that they could visit the cafe based on the app. You're also forcing customers who could just swing by the counter to grab their order within minutes to wait in a 20-30 minute line - for what? The app tells me my drink is ready in 3 minutes, I’m just not going to wait 20-30 in the drive thru line when I’m in a hurry, when you could just let folks inside.
Really disappointed and won’t stop off this edit for...
Read moreI love the Shelbyville location! They are accurate on their drinks they always get them correct and are always friendly! I live in Greensburg and I prefer Shelbyville Starbucks anyday over Greensburg. We drive to Shelbyville to get our Starbucks now because our drinks are always correct and we've had to much trouble with Greensburg Starbucks and them not getting them correct and we go almost everyday to Starbucks! That's alot of money not to get our drinks correct and we've been Gold Card Members since 2009! Greensburg Starbucks started out great but has slowly went down hill because they are not consistent with being open, having products that we want in our drinks, and refusing to let us get a certain product that we've gotten with our drinks since we started going to Starbucks and one day all of the sudden refused to give it to us! That's not what Starbucks is about but at Greensburg location it seems they make up their own rules when we know it's free! So we will continue to keep going to the Shelbyville location where they are friendly and consistent with everything and don't refuse to give us what we've always have gotten. That's not...
Read moreEverybody was really nice except for this older gentleman who workes there. I sat in the lobby for probably 20 minutes and sat and observed him as he worked. He was rude to me and my friend when we were placing our orders, and I sat and watched him as he slammed cabinet and oven doors and kicked things. He got upset because he couldn't get a customers order in a bag, and I watched him slam their sandwiches down on the counter. When he put my friends slice of lemon bread on the counter for pickup, he literally threw it down. The lobby was completely full and this grown man was standing there throwing a full blown child tantrum. I've seen children act better than that. I was absolutely disgusted by his behavior. I feel so bad for anybody who has to work with that man. I will say that essentially everything else about this place is good, except for him. I get that everybody has a bad day, but when all of the customers can see you act like a baby, it really ruins the atmosphere, and makes people not want to go back. My friend and I were absolutely disgusted by this man's behavior. I'm seriously glad that my parents raised me to not...
