The first two I seen we're lies, I definitely never seen no good service or a Jacuzzi bathtub. It was $70 and it was basically like a drunken crack hotel!! First time I got there, I had already checked in and I gave two guys my credit card (not being racist but they were from the Middle East). Neither one of them could speak good English, and neither one of them knew how to work the credit card machine. The first one put it in upside down a few times until I told him you had to turn it over. So the second one took over and of course he put it in backwards where it wouldn't read the chip, so I had to tell him about that. They really didn't understand what I was talking about where my language and finally a third guy came out that knew how to do it and spoke proper English. This is one of the worst places and I've ever stayed and if you're looking for a room in siler City go across the street to the Days inn!!!! The place was old and look like it it had been built in the 90's. As far as doing your room all they did was make the bed, not changing the sheets of course and I think they had bed bugs. David also just take your old towels and put new towels in the bathroom, that's all. They never clean the bathroom, clean the tub, or mop the bathroom floor. They also never vacuumed, so when I got out of the shower barefoot I would always have all kinds of things on the bottom of my feet picked up from the bathroom floor and the rug in the room!!!! Also they would not clean the coffee pot, or leave fresh coffee supplies at all, I've got pictures to prove all this!!! And also the room I had on the bottom floor when you open up the curtain you have a view of the stairs, which they had furniture and chairs underneath which is a real fire hazard!!! Not only that every night I came home from work there is a food Lion card right by the stairs filled with empty beer cases, every night!!! I would take the food Lion shopping cart which came from right across the street and I would will it underneath the stairs behind the chairs and furniture. But it didn't matter cuz every day I came home it was still in the same spot right by the front of the stairs by my door filled with cases of empty beer. They do not have no phones or alarm clocks of course, it was very ghetto!! The last day I complained do the lady which was one of their wives about everything, and I had been complaining every day. But the last day was the worst. I told her whoever was cleaning the rooms needs to be fired because all they're doing is making the bed and putting towels in the bathroom, and that they were not cleaning at all and I have pictures of the bathroom floor and how dirty was. And also pictures of the coffee pot that they just left with the cup that I used and never replaced anything... She made an excuse that she was at the hospital and the person that clean the room was sick... Another guy I worked with stayed in the same place just a little further down, and he told me he's seen the person who cleans the room. He said he look like an old drunk crackhead, and I thought I had a couple things missing.... So best advice is to go across the street and stay away from this place. From $70 for a crack hotel to $100 for a real nice hotel it's worth the $30. Oh and as you will see in the pictures the last day I got so mad cuz when I came home they were to food Lion carts outside my door. I put one of them behind the chairs underneath the stairs, and I took the other one around and put it right in front of the bright lightin front of the hotel that shines straight up so that everybody could see it!!! After that I took a shower and sit down and started watching TV, Friday the 13th because it actually was Friday the 13th. I heard voices outside so when I open up my shade, I seen there were two people sitting on the chair, a guy and a girl write out my window underneath the stairs sitting in those nasty chairs and talking for over an hour.... A crackhead and a chicken, and if you don't know what I mean look! The next day when I left I said I would never...
Read moreAt the end of March 2021, I had the need to spend four days in Siler City, NC and chose Amerivu Inn where I had stopped before. Rooms are $68 per night. That's right, for more than a room would cost at Myrtle Beach (in the off season), you can stay in sunny Siler City within walking distance of a very nice curio shop and Walmart and such eating establishments as McDonald's and a Chinese take-away that is closed Mondays. The $68 is the same price for a single or double room. Weekly rates which were formerly offered have been abolished. A non-smoking room will require a deposit of $50; it wasn't worth it to me. Unlike the last time I stopped at this hotel, my room had hot water which is definitely a perk. The room was perfectly clean. The housekeeping staff is polite and not bothersome. They do not insist on coming into the room at odd times. There was no telephone in the room but I was able to get one in the office and plug it in myself. The key card for the room did not usually work and I had to get it reset a few times or have staff admit me to my room. Incidentally, the office is not generally occupied and in order to get service one must dial a telephone receiver placed in the anteroom. The office itself is closed due to coronavirus but they expect us to put a telephone receiver up to our faces. Incidentally, you should hope that the son of the family answers the telephone. If the mother of the family answers, you probably have a considerable wait for service. When I went in to get the telephone for the room, I outwaited two other guests who gave up and drove away before she finally came to the window, complaining about how annoyed she is by the guests. Other than the hot water and available telephone, the other perk is WiFi but unlike my previous stay the WiFi is now secured with a password. So make sure that you get the password. They failed to give it to me at check-in and I had to go back for it and wait. The television set worked. I did not use the privacy chain; it had been unscrewed from the door and it appeared that part of the bracket was left on the wash stand. The bathroom door had been broken in at some point and the jamb was torn away. There is a laundry room on site but it is only for decorative purposes as the machines have not functioned 'for a long time' to quote the lady in the office. Not that I expected it, but there are no document printing or fax services available. Be prepared to check out early if required. The manager knocked on my door at ten o'clock on my last morning to inform me that the check-out time needed to be moved up thirty minutes from eleven o'clock...
