Original post on tripadvisor: Over priced for one. The room had furniture falling apart and was dirty. We made our reservation on priceline and was informed that we needed to contact the hotel directly for any special needs we had. I am handicap and travel with a caretaker. I am a female he is a male. I let them know we would need to make sure we were on a ground floor and need 2 beds. They said we needed to go through priceline . I asked priceline and they said the hotel. Called hotel back and they said they would handle it on check in which was Christmas eve night. We get there and the girl at the desk says smoking room one bed and the girl we talked to on the phone (I think the desk clerk said that girl's name was Rachel, didn't know what she was talking about) she would have to call her manager which she didn't want to bother at night and that he oversees 6 locations so he is a very busy person. (message: we didn't count) and her assistant manager she might knock offline if she called. What is that?!(Message: Asst. Mgrs. Online social activity more important) In the end she said she'd get us a cot if we wanted one and next time try booking through them directly.Only 3 guest in hotel and desk clerk could not fix issue. Bad Bad customer service. Forgot sorry.Room could be upgraded from $52 to $80. Country Hearth Inns need to overhaul this location. Physical, Personnel, and Policy if that is truly what kept the employee from helping a guest. We strive to provide best service as your reservation was moved from Smoking to Non-Smoking and as courtesy Roll away bed was offered to you with out any extra cost to accommodate your special need. I suggest you should reserve double bed while reserving with Priceline to avoid such situation. We look forward seeing you next time. We weren't able to select type of room and were directed to call you directly which we did and were told after 2nd call to your hotel it would be handled upon arrival. 2.    Read moreThis place was great. Only for one exception. It was a lot more better than AmeriVu inn ( That's almost like a crack hotel).. But this place was great unlike that place, Is kinda like night and day. But there is only one issue and I still have to call the manager and talk to them about it. I made a reservation already and I think it was sunday early morning I was calling. It's like nobody answered the phone for a couple of hours. But i've already talked 21 lady there and told her how bad my place wand we had talked several times as it's right across the street, and she knows about it. So it definitely wasn't. This woman was very kind and help me out as much as she could. I told I was gonna be there for a while. And she got me the best rate she could. And I had already talked about five or six times and she was a very nice, sweet lady. So here's my grievance and it is definitely not the same woman, I ask for a 6:20am wake up call and there is no wake up call. I was already late for work and I got my wake up call at 7:20 am. I was already late so I went to this front desk Unring the bell three time. And finally eight minutes later another woman came off the back I told her about it and she told me in a bad tone That I have an alarm on my phone. I told her that I know that I don't need to get an attitude with her. Very unprofessional has no people skills whatsoever. That is only half the grievance cause I don't think google will take the whole grievance.. Their count metal bar breakfast is from 6am-9am. Most stuff is have to be on the job site, either at 6 or 6:30am. I usually leave about 6:05 -6:10 To try to get the content in the breakfast But nothing is ever out there but coughing and water, Which is always out there. I have a lot more grievance about this woman But this is all I'm gonna post about her at this time. I'm not being racist, But she is an african american woman with a big attitude and does not have any people skill. Next morning when I walk by the cleaning. Lady was in a getting suplies. I seen her sitting in the back laundry room talking on her phone. That's probably why it takes her at least 3-5 rings to come out!!! Don't get me wrong the hotel is definitely four star and the best in town, But if she wasn't working there, it would be definitely a five star all the way!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to call and try to get a hold of her manager this week to put an agreement no her, She definitely does not need to be working there and needs to find another job. One that she can actually doesn't have anything to do with people or people's skills!!!!! But otherwise, this is the best place in siler city And I would definitely give it a 4 star...
   Read moreThis had to be the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel or motel. I arrived very late due to being at a nearby Festival. I needed to stay in a hotel instead of camping because I've had a lot of health problems and can no longer sleep on the ground. The rooms are putrid with mold. I have a very serious allergy to mold that leaves me extremely sick if I spend any time near it and the moment I walked in the door, I could not breathe. I was hoping that the lobby was worse than the rooms but I got to my room and it was much worse. When I unlocked the door, it was so jammed. I could almost not open it. Once I forced my way through, the mold smell was so bad that I started wheezing and was unable to breathe. And to make matters much worse, the stupid fire alarm was chirping every 30 seconds. There was so much mold smell that it was impossible for me to be able to stay in the room. Then I tried to call the front desk from the room and she didn't answer. She was there but she didn't answer. So I had to go back to the lobby again and explain to her why I could not stay.
Unfortunately, I had purchased the room through Priceline. Crystal, the lady at the front desk, assured me that she was going to release the credit card and reservation so that Priceline could refund me for this situation. Then I drove to a damn Walmart parking lot at 2:45 am and sat there googling and dialing numbers to inns that were not answering or didn't have any rooms (There are not very many accommodations in this part of North Carolina ). After 45 minutes I finally found a room at this motor Lodge that actually still has smoking rooms! But thank God they still had one non-smoking room available. At 3:30 in the morning I was finally able to get moved into a room that wasn't making me choke in this motor Lodge. I called Priceline but they explained that, in fact, Crystal had not released the credit card hold or the reservation and that this would have to be done in order for me to get my money back on my credit card. I'll have to deal with that tomorrow.
Do not go stay at this hotel if you have any allergies to mold. Even if you don't, it is so disgusting, I wouldn't recommend that anyone ever stay there. It has triggered my asthma so badly that I'm still having trouble breathing even though I'm in a clean room now. By the way, this town has a giant waste treatment plant and it stinks like rotten eggs everywhere outside. Avoid this hotel and avoid Siler...
