The Scoops Udder Place — Restaurant in Sioux City

UPDATE: The owner reached out and had us come back when the flavors I wanted were available and this time was a completely different experience! The bubblegum, cotton candy, and cheesecake flavors are so yummy!! We will be back especially when we hear the Dr pepper flavor is available!! They are so nice and we are thankful for being able to experience what others have- great ice cream and great service!!!

Unfortunately they didn't have one of the flavors I wanted but that's understandable since they just opened and were swamped. The part that I didn't like was that I asked for two scoops, each different flavors and the girl only put in one flavor and it was not something I even really enjoyed. I just picked it because the other one I wanted was not available. So not only did I not get the one flavor, I didn't get the second one I wanted either, which I didn't even find out until halfway through the waffle cone when it was apparent the second flavor was never put in there. The owner only heard about the non available flavor and did offer it to us for free which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1. Another DELICIOUS addition has opened in Sioux City’s downtown- The Scoop’s Udder Place inside the RE/MAX City Centre(the old Riviera Theater). I’m not a big sweets person, but the premium homemade ice cream that this place is serving up is exceptional. It has amazing ice cream by the scoop, sundaes, shakes, and other sweet treats. Pair these delicious offerings with their arcade like atmosphere and room for private parties and you have a recipe for a good time. I found myself wanting to taste test every single flavor, but the highlights for me were the peanut butter and banana cream pie! The friend I went with is an ice cream connoisseur and her comment was that it was the best cookies and cream ice cream she has ever had. Edited: Just took my kids there, 2 cashiers didn’t even greet, not even hi/hello, didn’t feel welcome at all. They literally just stood there and stared at my kids. Didn’t even ask to assist or anything whatsoever, just made us feel really uncomfortable. Not a very good first impression.

After the owner’s respond, it’s crazy that we can’t even express our review on a service we just got. And now might be accusing of lying also? Would you want your kids to be stared at the whole time you are in a restaurant? And yes I was in the restaurant for the service and not even annything about greeting customers.
