Staying at this charming hotel tucked away amidst the greenery just off I-75 in Marietta was a truly enjoyable experience. The casual elegance and tranquil setting lent itself to a soothing and convenient atmosphere. What impressed me most about this hotel was the thoughtfulness of the in-room amenities. The flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi added a nice touch of modernity to the relaxed atmosphere. The practicality of having a coffeemaker, mini-fridge, and microwave at my disposal gave the space a home-away-from-home feel. However, every rose has its thorns, and despite its many positive aspects, a couple of areas left room for improvement. For instance, the outdoor pool, while refreshing, could use a bit of upkeep. Additionally, although parking was available, it seemed a tad crowded during peak hours. On the brighter side, the gym was well-maintained, and the lobby lounge's inviting ambiance provided an excellent place for a casual catch-up or a quiet evening of reading. Moreover, I appreciated the inclusion of breakfast, which provided a perfect start to the day and allowed for more time to plan the day's adventures. In summary, this hotel off I-75 in Marietta provided a comfortable stay with a genuine warmth that set it apart. Its minor drawbacks did little to overshadow the many conveniences, from practical in-room amenities to its proximity to local attractions. If you're planning a trip to Marietta and looking for a relaxing and home-like experience, this unassuming hotel certainly deserves a look.

In general I think this is a Good price-quality balance. 5 PROS AND 3 CONS: Pros: -The hotel is clean, well organized and has good lighting in the common areas -The room was spacious (two queen beds) and had a cozy vibe, although it didn’t have much lighting (just a few lamps and no strong ceiling light). It included a microwave, mini fridge, TV, and other convenient details -The sheets looked and felt clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The hot water had great temperature and strong pressure -Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and everything tasted great. It included eggs, bacon, sausage, 3 types of cereal, milk, 3 kinds of juice, water, 2 types of coffee, different kinds of bread including bagels and muffins (chocolate and blueberry), waffles, and yogurt with optional toppings like nuts, chocolate, and granola. -It is located within 9 min from Coca Cola Roxy Cons: -You can hear loud door slams from other rooms clearly from your room. (at 3am, 6am and noon) and the fan/ac didn’t work to good -Even though the building is marked as smoke-free, every floor smells like smoke, both cigarettes and something else -The payment method is confusing. When you book online, it shows the final price with taxes included, but when you arrive, they tell you only a deposit was charged. Then at check-in, they charge you the room rate again plus a $25 “refundable” deposit (which they say you’ll get back in a few days). Compared to other hotels where you're charged the full amount when booking or at check-in.

I think Best Western is ranked as a 3 star hotel, but tries hard to do better. For the most part, it gets does get a couple of things just right. Their staff is friendly and hotel cleanliness is pretty decent. Free continental breakfast, with plenty to choose from. Convenient snack bar at front, a small gym, and a pool out back (that could use some cleaning). Bed is comfy, pillows were both firm and soft. Towels were clean but could use softener. My biggest gripe is the bathroom sink faucet. It’s far too set back or short to properly wash your hands without cramming it against the sink. Additionally, in my room at least, the bathroom floor was sticky even after house keeping each day. And the AC unit was terrible. Made the room smell like a dirty mop when it was on. Had to forego this luxury and was lucky that it wasn’t too hot while I was here. Btw the early check-in fee is just stupid. They didn’t even want to make an exception of just 10 minutes. I’ve never had that issue with any of the higher ranked hotels fyi.

Wouldn’t recommend. Not friendly ppl. Stayed here a week straight and I was told I couldn’t wait in the lobby (had only a hour to wait in the lobby) during the same day of my check out and wait on my ride. They wouldn’t let me book another night because they are sold out. (Which is a lie & I waited hours in the lobby until I was able to rebook another night stay and she tells me their sold out & I watched her book someone right after she tells me this ) I’m a member at best western stayed at this location for a week and a half. My $29 deposit was lost and they are saying they don’t have my deposit and or never received my deposit in cash when I know for a fact I gave the person at the front desk $29 in cash because I paid with cash that night. I am having to get the cameras rolled back just to receive my $29 that mysteriously disappeared from behind the front desk. The house keepers are very noisy and bring their kids to work which is unprofessional they had a baby crib in the front Office Kids Running around and crying in the lobby as the housekeepers work. Wouldn’t recommend. I never caused any problems with anyone at this property and do not Like how I was treated as a member. I HAVE BEEN RACIALLY PROFILED FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON THEY TOLD ME THE HOTEL ROOMS WERE SOLD OUT. I GO ON EXPEDIA AND THEY HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE SAME DAY SAME LOCATION! ONCE I BROUGHT THAT TO THEIR ATTENTION THE FRONT DESK LADY (MARAILEN) STATED THAT HERE MANAGER TOLD HER TO LIE TO ME AND TELL ME THE ROOMS WERE BOOKED BECAUSE HER MANAGER DOESNT WANT ME STAYING AT THE PROPERTY! I ASKED HER WHAT WAS THE REASON SHE STATED SHE DID NOT HAVE A REASON! So I asked her why Is it I can’t stay at this hotel? AND I’VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG TO ANYONE HERE SINCE I BEEN AT THIS HOTEL!!! That I’ve been staying at for a week straight ?? She had nothing to say. I NEVER smoked in the hotel room and there was no allegations of me smoking in my hotel room. So I told her I will be calling the supervisor and letting them know about the situation. I FEEL I WAS RACIALLY PROFILED AND I HAVE NOT CAUSED ANY TROUBLE WITH ANYONE OR ANYTHING!!! AND I DO NOT APPRECIATE HOW I WAS TREATED I DEFINITELY FELT UNCOMFORTABLE AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING BACK I DID NOT...

The rooms seem to be very clean/updated. I was very impressed when entering the room how good it looked and there wasn’t a smell. I was not impressed that my room number was said out loud upon check-in when handing me my keys. The front desk agent was very sweet, gave me great information about the hotel but as someone that travels solo (and has worked in this industry), I did not appreciate my room number being said out loud. I would likely not stay here again because for hours, children were screaming and running throughout the hallways on the third floor and people were allowing their dogs to bark and run up and down the hallways periodically. This was an issue from about 5-6 pm until well after 8-9 pm.

I’ve never experienced this at a hotel. Every now and then a child may get excited and scream or giggle while going to a room. A dog may bark but I’ve never felt like I was at an outdoor playground and worried that I would not be able to sleep because of the level of noise that was continuing into the night (in the hallways via screaming, running, barking, slamming doors). I was here for an interview. Next time I will likely pay a little bit more to stay at a different location/hotel.

Also if you stay here, request to stay on any floor but the third floor. I think housekeeping is on the fourth floor or something is on the fourth floor and they either do laundry late into the night, they are doing tasks that involve heavy foot work/running around or some thing. I’m on the third floor and there’s something happening above my room that is so chaotic. And again it is almost 10 o’clock and people are still in the hallways yelling and slamming doors. I would just choose a different hotel in general if you want something quiet and...

Check in was easy and fast. Everyone at the front desk was very nice. I was little taken back that they charge daily for pets which is insane. The room was nicely remodeled but it had a lot of things wrong with it.

I can see this place going down fast if they don’t get better housekeeping.

When I first walked into the room I noticed that my allergies started going crazy because there was so much dust collected on things. So I ended up having to go to my car to get some cleaning supplies and wipe everything down. After that I was okay. The remote control was very nasty and sticky. The lamp shade was also severely stained.

Then the bathroom sink water nozzle was to far back, so the water was getting all over the sink, and the fan to the bathroom light was entirely to loud for me.

So loud that it was vibrating the wall. The the hallways were pretty dirty as well as no air conditioning in the hallways. It was already Hot enough outside. As a place that takes pets I would definitely think that they couldn’t invest in a carpet shampooer and some AC for the hallways.

Another concern of mines was that my key kept not working. so I went down to ask the Asian lady at the front desk (the owner) about getting the key redone and I wasn’t asked any questions at all. Not for my ID or anyway to prove that I was the owner of the room. That is definitely an issue and cause for concern and it’s reckless. I mentioned it to her and she asked for my ID after I said something about it. My only advice would be that if you have valuables do not leave them in the room when...
