I love Vietnamese food, well any Asian food is really good in my opinion. On Labor Day my sister invited me and our parents to eat at a new Vietnamese restaurant call Pho Street. This would be our parent's first Vietnamese restaurant. It is a very lovely restaurant inside. Everything was clean, lighting was wonderful, & the staff was very friendly. The food was pretty spectacular. We had tofu spring rolls, the appetizer sampler (crab Rangoon, tempura shrimp, spring rolls, & a fried dumpling). We all ordered a variety of entrees. I can only speak of how tasty the fried crispy noodle combo was. It was delicious plus the banana boba was refreshing. The only thing I can complain about was speed of service. I know it is a newly opened establishment but we were there for nearly two hours. Each entree was brought out at a time. Sometimes 5 minutes apart. I was the last person to get my entree so it was about 20 minutes after the first was placed on the table. Food for a table should be delivered together. All-in-all I will probably go back. Hopefully the speed of service will be a little better. Still a good experience overall.

Where to start. I love to support small businesses and give genuinely positive feedback but this restaurant made it difficult. I ordered the Pho Street Sampler which was okay. I'd give it a low 4 out of 5. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken BƔnh MƬ and the chicken was a very rubbery consistency - almost as if they brined it for 6 hours too long. I'd give it a 1.5 out of 5. Lastly, I ordered the Spicy Lemongrass soup. It was delivered to us with a long hair in the soup and lining the bowl. When we pulled it out in front of the young lady who delivered it, she said, "oh, sorry" and walked away. I was super hungry and decided to just eat the soup anyway. There was very little lemongrass taste and there was certainly a lack of spice and more of a fish sauce taste. Due to the hair and lack of taste I give it a 0 out of 5. The taro and milk tea boba was decent - the boba itself was not given enough time to steep in warm water as it had a bit of a bite to it. Overall, it was not very good and I can't recommend it.

I often enjoy trying new restaurants, especially when pho is on the menu. This was my first time here and unfortunately compared to the many other restaurants I’ve enjoyed this didn’t come close. The spring rolls are premade with pork & shrimp together. Just an fyi for those that don’t eat pork. They did however willingly accommodate me and make shrimp only spring rolls. They were decent but disappointed in the portion size for the price. $8.50 for 2 very small spring rolls. This is the smallest portion I’ve experienced and at a high cost. The Pho Ga soup was decent. The bean sprouts were brown, past their prime. Obv did not eat. The chicken is semi shredded breasts, dry. Again the portion for the price. $14.50 for a small, it’s small compared to other restaurants I’ve been too for the price. I went for lunch yet didn’t see any lunch specials. I did like that they didn’t add the white onions and dressings to the broth and kept it separate.

We sat down on a table that wasn’t wiped yet. When we sat down, there was a half full water cup. The girl spoke in Vietnamese that the table haven’t cleaned yet. Thinking she’ll wipe the table down, but she grabbed the cup and walked away. Their appetizer is very small for the price. The fishball was half a size of regular fishball. And their spring roll tasted rubbery and already made in the fridge all day. Didn’t offer us water or give us anything to drink. We ordered hot tea and Vietnamese Coffee. The Vietnamese coffee was a bitter but whatever. But the tea came out luke warm, whatever. We asked for a avocado smoothie, she said she’ll check the back to see if there’s anymore and let us know. Walked away and never came back. Then, we asked for another pot of hot tea, since the tea pot was very small and we finished it (since the weather was 35 degree outside in Florida). She said okay and never came back with hot tea. After we finish food, we were super thirsty, eating ice from our coffee and drinking the last few drops of tea. So I asked my boyfriend to come up and asked for the drink menu. He asked her if there was any Avocado smoothie, she said no. And so we asked if there’s any strawberry smoothie… she said no, only Thai tea. She seemed like she didn’t care and just getting all the receipt together and adding the tips to the register. Overall, really bad service after we sit down. The Pho house special soup tasted very bland with a little star anise flavor. My Bun Bo Hue (Spicy ā€œLemon-grassā€ beef noodle soup) tasted bland and sweet. But the soup was alright, Luke warm soup.

I understand when we walked in, they were closing in 1 hour 30 minutes. Especially the end of the day after a long day at work. But need customer service improvements. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. I checked on Google review before going and have good expectations from 5 stars recent reviews and 4.4 ratings overall. When we walked in, the waitress was super nice, asking us how we were doing, and very friendly. But, after we got the food ordered, the waitresses and waiters still super nice, but not paying attention to customers and only noticed when a customer walk up to the desk to ask for something. Maybe I came on a bad day, but I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you don’t expect good service. Food...

Unbelievable food, phenomenal service and just an all around great place to eat.

Pricing is very competitive, we all know it’s not cheap to eat out and when you are spending your hard earned money, you want to know that you are getting FRESH, HIGH QUALITY and GREAT TASTING ingredients and you get that here more so than other places.

Some other places try to use produce that they shouldn’t because it’s not the freshest, some places don’t have the attention to detail to cut, slice, chop etc… the right lengths, widths and such.

This place site literally does everything the right way and I called one time to let them know they had messed up and he was adamant that he didn’t err, I was adamant and more than a little bit perturbed because I was sure that I was correct…

The gentleman yielded and said ā€œIn the name of doing good business, even though I know I didn’t forget to send the other order and I will give you an order on the houseā€

Now this was me calling and letting him know that the prior time I ordered, that this happens so he comped me what I told him was missing, again, even after him being adamant.

Come to find out he was right and I was wrong and the next time i ordered, I had to fight with him to charge me for one more order than I got to make up for what he actually DID SEND.

He was so gracious and so amazing and I can’t say enough good things about this place.

If you’ve never had Vietnamese food, I strongly suggest that you introduce yourself and anyone else who enjoys great food to Pho Street, pronounced ā€œFUH-STREETā€

You will not be disappointed, you will love everything but I strongly urge you to give any of the rice dishes a try, along with any of the Pho (great experience, trust me) and the Banh Mi are to die for and wash it down with a boba drink of your favorite flavor.

Treat yourself and...

Update 2022: They seem to be back in business with regular hours and staffing. While service continues to be slow, at least their food is back to normal and delicious as it was before.

Update: January 2021: Unfortunately changing this review after 3 consecutive negative experiences here recently. First off, visited a few weeks ago at 7pm and was told they were already closing because they changed their closing time from 8 to 7. Second time we visited at 6:30, they said they weren’t taking any dine in customers because they already cleaned up. This last time we went, when we were sat and ordered drinks already, we ordered but were told they were only serving the first seven appetizers and soups. We left. Unless things improve, we won’t be returning and will be looking for a new Vietnamese place.

March/April 2020: Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and this is definitely our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! We had tried a few in the area, but all were just okay. This one blew all of the other local ones out of the water. We had the house special rice vermicelli bowl with shrimp, spring rolls, chicken and pork. It was amazing - great flavors and large portions. The restaurant itself was nice, clean and bright. Service was also good and you can tell this is a family-owned restaurant. We will...
