KFC — Restaurant in Florida

I arrived at this KFC after a long bike ride and began pulling out my cover for by e-bike and locking it up. One employee came out to politely tell me to move it for It was in the door way however, I had already begun the process of adjusting it away from the entry way. No problem. As soon as I walked in to the dining area a black lady employee behind the counter with twist in her hair nearest to the register quickly moved away as if I had dirt on my face. I also noticed that I could not find a happy soul there but instead everybody was stoned faced. A white lady approached the register to help me with my order. I decided to go to the bathroom to wash my hands before dining inside. My order came quickly and was awaiting for me to pick it up. I grabbed it, filled my cup with a drink and decided to sit next to the window nearing my bike and no sooner than when I sat down a tall apparently homeless man approached my bike and began lifting the cover. I rushed outside to tell him “don’t touch my bike”. He informed me that the employees there told him to take it. I replied “No! No one told you to take my bike.” He insisted that they did and he added that “ I can ask any employee there”. I stopped him again and insisted that “ he not touch my bike” he became visible irate and insisted again that “ I can ask the employee there at KFC that he can take it” as we struggled back and forth for the third time. I firmly told him to “stay away from my bike” with my taser in hand. He finally walked away with a bad taste in his mouth. I walked back to my seat when I notice many of the employees were scrambling through the back of the kitchen. I decided to take a couple of bites of my food then leave for I no longer felt safe there. However, it was such a strange occurrence I mention it to the white lady employees that helped me with my order what the guy told me while attempting to take my bike. She ask me “ is it locked?” and I replied yes! I then decided to leave the restaurant for I no longer felt welcomed there. It’s hard to say what really happened here but, I can only assume that one or more of the employees were involved in a possible crime of thef...

I got cole slaw, fries, and a biscuit, and drive away a happy vegetarian camper. There's not much there for a vegetarian to eat, but they have THE BEST cole slaw in the world. With the chopped cabbage and tangy dressing, you simply can NOT beat KFC Cole Slaw! BRING IT!

Now, as for the French Fries. What happened to them? They used to be potato wedges with lovely seasonings of them, close to the original chicken seasonings, but not quite... Or maybe quite, but what do I know, either way, they are GONE to be replaced with boring, plain fries that, while crispy, were really nothing to write home to.

But, KFC pulled through again, and hit another home run with their always buttery, tender, and warm biscuit... I should got two. When ya eat KFC, ya gotta say, "Screw the calories" or you'll never forgive yourself. They didn't give me any honey, but that's ok, their idea of honey isn't truly honey. It's not even called honey. It's called honey sauce or something silly like that. (So, it's probably vegan, seeing how real honey is not vegan because it's produced by an "animal", and anything that is an animal product or that is produced by an animal is off limits to a true vegan... Which I am not).

6/28/2023 approximately 4pm I went to this location to get some chicken.

Upon arriving in the parking lot , there was a strong odor of marijuana, the drive through speaker was blocked off by 2 cars ( not at the speaker , but parked just behind it to stop any real customers from ordering) There were 2 associates in uniform outside these vehicles (a male and a female) along with 1 person not in uniform , smoking.

There was only 1 other car in the parking lot.

I decided to NOT order anything from this location, and immediately left and went to a proper establishment.

I think it's VERY unprofessional to be smoking outside of your drive thru, and I don't see how this location can even get sales with the drive through speaker blocked off by employee vehicles.

Someone from corporate needs to do an honest evaluation of the management and crew at this establishment, I'm sure your not paying them to only smoke, and to drive away potential customers.

I would NEVER trust food from this location.

And this leaves me not wanting to purchase anything from any KFC location in the future as this seems to be a trend for this company.

I do NOT want anything , or even an apology, I just would like you to have some honest feedback about this location.
