Wasnāt expecting much from the rooms due to the reviews and pictures so I was already prepared for that. Prior to check in I was made aware of the cash $100 deposit for incidentals, which is unheard of at any other hotel Iāve stayed at, but fine. Upon check in on Thursday I did let the gentleman at the front desk know I had pets but they were being immediately picked up, which they were. And I know he saw me with them because the maintenance man and himself went by and looked while I was unloading and walking them outside after a 4 and a half hour drive. It was at check out Saturday morning that the front desk lady accused me of having the dogs in the room on Friday and kept part of the deposit. I have no problem paying the fee but it was the fact that she was flat out lying. I did not have the dogs with me, especially on Friday. They werenāt even in my car! She said she wasnāt there Thursday but was made aware by maintenance I had the dogs on FRIDAY, and kept $40 of the cash deposit. She couldnāt even describe how the dogs looked because she was lying and even said she didnāt see them but KNEW they were there. The whole cash deposit is just a scam so the staff can come up with any bs reason to pocket the money. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Had the gentleman who checked me in called me after check in asking about the pets that would be different but she was blatantly lying just to keep the money. All of the five star reviews on here are only due to the free "gift" at check in if you leave a review, which is cheap sunglasses or tooth paste. Will never return here again thanks to her.
āāediting based on the owners response: itās truly laughable at this point they canāt take accountability that they lied. At check in I was never told pets couldnāt even be on the property. When I advised I had my pets with me and theyād be getting picked up, the man replied āthatās fineā. If he wouldāve told me I had to pay a fee right then and there I wouldāve happily done so. I usually do my research when it comes to hotel bookings but this time I didnāt because the hotel was recommended by the wedding planner, a total miss. Upon arrival, I noticed that the building did not have much lighting in a single female, would not be comfortable staying here. Upon arrival I went to the front desk to check in and the host acted as if I put them out. When I entered the room, I noticed the door did not properly close, and it lacked a do not disturb sign. Upon entry I noticed the chairs in the room had seen better days. The TV on the wall was crooked. During the night we noticed that the fridge was leaking onto the floor. The bed coverletās were completely worn. Also, there were no toilet paper or towels in the room and I had to make a second trip to the front desk and basically beg for towels and toilet paper. I had to go down to the front desk the next morning to get another towel. The shower was completely gross and had signs of black mold in the shower. The showerhead was completely gross and looks like it has it never been cleaned. The wash cloths that we got from the front desk had stains on them and looked like dried blood. The toilet did not flush very well whatsoever. The second day we left, and we returned to see that housekeeping was in our room, they had left after a few minutes. Upon entry we noticed that they left all the trash still in the room, and the only thing that they did was make up the bed and probably used previous linens, it did not look like fresh linens were on the beds. The floor had not been mopped, and when you walked barefoot on the floors, the bottom of your feet are black. When we checked out, we brought these issues up to the front desk and the only thing they said is, we will make a note of it, which means get out of our face. This motel needs to be condemned, the breakfast is a joke, and only consist of cereal and bread in the toaster ovens do not work hardly whatsoever. The owner of this motel is just wanted to save money and put it in his own pocket and really this place needs to be grazed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I could give this place zero stars but unfortunately the lowest option I could pick is a 1. We got in very late due to working late and were ready to rest. I go inside to check in and the lobby was very unkept. Food that Iām assuming was for breakfast that morning was just placed randomly on a table. Check-in took forever but since it was so late we gave it a pass. We get our keys and go to our assigned room. The first thing we notice is that lights are flickering all over the place. Good thing we arenāt epileptic. We find our room and the keys donāt work. We go back to the office and after a long wait we get new keys. We finally get into our room and our jaws hit the floor. This is nothing like what the pictures on the internet showed. Paint chipped off of every surface, A/C unit was propped up by a random piece of wood, jacuzzi tub was not sealed and looked gross and the room was just deplorable. Even our dog was uncomfortable sitting on the floor. Even the lamp on the inside of the unit was flickering. The laundry room outside was a disaster. This was easily one of the worse places I have ever witnessed. We had no choice but to leave. Later on that day I called the manager for a refund and offered to show her all of the pictures and videos that I took regarding the condition of her Inn. I was met with contempt and defensiveness, but no accountability. She also refused to give us any type of refund, even though she was aware of the condition of her Inn and that we could not stay there.
