Upon arrival we got in after hours so the lobby was closed, but they left our key in mailbox for us. Once getting into the room 203, I as a mother immediately start checking the beds and couch for us to sleep. My 2yr old and 7 yr old slept on the pull out couch. The couch itself was dirty an sticky. It could use a good shampooing. Now when you let it out as a bed, it's not the cleanest either there was stains on some of the sheets that was left in the closet for us. Also not very comfortable to sleep. Now to my husband and I queen size bed. I pulled the covers back and was surprised to a baby spider crawling by the pillow. Immediately killed it and had a sour sleep the whole night. We didn't see any other bugs after that one. But my sleep was horrible the first night stay. I slept on top of my husband because of the spider. The bed itself was nowhere close to your at home bed. Too hard and flat. The cleanliness in the room the floors and bathroom was clean but outdated. Because it has beach atmosphere expect sand to be tract in your room everytime you go in and out. There is a broom and dustpan to keep it clean. There is a sink and mini fridge and mini microwave. That was a plus for us. Bring your own hair dryer none in room. They also are pet friendly that was good we had two dogs as well. Now there's not much grass area and privacy to take them to use it. But we made it work. The a/c was amazing with ceiling fan. I froze my family out lol. The cafe on site was not the best by a long run. It was very hot out. My family and I ate there breakfast pancakes sausage and eggs. I was sent cold boiled eggs. Upon sitting down you have to get your own napkins and silverware after they bring your food. The waiter we had could have smiled and been friendly. You could tell she didn't like her job and it was too hot for her. For three orders of pancakes sausage and eggs with juice total was 50+. Of course we only ate out there onetime. The beach is walking distance from the hotel, right out back. Once coming back in they have a shower hose to clean off by the cafe they also have a water hose by the stairs going up. If you don't ask the lobby you will miss all of it especially if the outside lights haven't turned on yet. Now the lobby staff was good didn't have any problems, Denise helped us with whatever we needed. We booked to stay 2 nights and ended up extending our stay 1 more night. Simply because we needed more time to roam the island. Not because our stay was amazing. For 260+ a night we have stayed at much better places. Not looking forward to staying here again. Hope this...

I'll start with the Pros: Price - very reasonable for the island Room - not fancy, but clean and comfortable overall. The bed and couch could have been more comfortable, but they were sufficient and we enjoyed our room. Maid service was fantastic! Location - although there is no beach view from your room, the property is beachfront with nice beach access Cafe on site - the onsite cafe is a bit pricey, but great atmosphere and we had good service the one time we ate there, plus happy hour daily during the week

Now, the Cons: Pool - the pool is small, if more than about 4 people are in it, it feels overcrowded. Also, the temperature is too warm. May be nice when the weather is cooler, or for young children, but if it's hot and you want to cool off, then it is miserable. Office Staff - a mistake was made on our reservation. I called twice to extend our stay, the first time to extend the end of our trip by a day and then a couple of days before we left, we found out we could actually arrive sooner, so I called back to see if our room happened to be available a day early. I was told that it was and it was no problem. When we arrived, a day before our original booking, we were told that the change was not made. Luckily, they did have another room we could stay in for the night, but it was on the 2nd floor and I was traveling with a disabled person and then we had to move the next day. This could have been handled in a way where it would have been no big deal and I would still be raving about this resort. Instead, it was not. We were offered no compensation whatsoever. The manager was offsite for the first portion of our trip, so she was not there to speak with initially. When she returned, she did not seek us out to apologize or anything. So during checkout, I asked to speak with her. She was incredibly rude and defensive. She would not admit that her front desk girl could have possibly made a mistake and when I said that she obviously made a mistake, the manager became angry and started yelling at me about not putting down her staff. I was not yelling, I was not cursing, I was not putting down her staff, simply pointing out that a mistake had been made. She essentially implied that I was lying and must not have called because her girl could not possibly have made a mistake. I left angry and with no desire to return to the property. Which is really unfortunate, because until that point, we had really enjoyed our time there. Her attitude and lack of customer service skills has pretty much ensured that we will not return to the cafe...

It was just ok! The location and the Cafe is the reason for all the 5 stars. We stayed 2 nights and the rooms are very very small. The queen beds are more the size if a double and very very uncomfortable. When we asked for a larger bed the manager lady wanted to charge Susan additional cleaning fee on top of an addition charge for larger bed. I was oknwi thg the additional charge of larger bed but her reason for the cleaning fee was she couldn't rent the room out that night cause housekeeping was gone. Well most rooms were vacant all night as it was a sunday so it wouldn't have mattered. So she ddnt take the extra step to make sure we were comfortable in our stay. Needless to say my 6 foot 4 husband and I didnt sleep all night both nights we stayed . Bed to small and mattress was terrible and hard and box spring like. My review would have been much better had the manager been kind and just moved us to another room without trying to get more money out of us first. I mean the place is nothing fancy and not even as nice as a motel 6. Sand in the sheets before we even used it. Good was the cafe the fact they allow dogs and how close it is to beach access other than that it's not comfortable at all. Will not recommend to others nor will we return. We would have liked to actually get some rest but because of the size and uncomfortable mattress and the lack of care by the female manager katherine I think her name was it was a ruff weekend! It was a sunday and she could have easily accommodated us we would have been more than happy to pay the price different but not additional cleaning fees. Bad customer...

This is by far one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. We booked a 5 day stay and it was great. The refrigerator was a decent size, plenty of cabinet space for food, and a kitchen sink. With no stove we bought a $20 electric griddle and cooked on it and it worked fabulously. The room was clean and stand up shower was really big. The staff was professional and very helpful. Its right on the beach so no need to leave and go somewhere else. The area on the beach was never packed so plenty of space to set out chairs and an umbrella. The pool is smaller but heated and nice after a long day. The parking is very small and at night its hard to find a spot due to the cafe. The cafe was good but a little expensive so we only ate there once but you can order drinks right from the pool. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when we go back.

It was quiet, rooms were comfortable and clean! Great tv channel selection! The best thing was the access to the beach and the fine dining at the cafe! In fact, the quality, selection, and service sets this restaurant apart from the others! Prices are reasonable, could not ask for a better dining experience. Also, it has outdoor dining options which is a plus right now. We felt safe dining there. The room could use a little updating such as a Keurig coffee maker but honestly the cafe is so close! The hot teas were amazing but there is a full bar. This facility does receive the hard-to-achieve “Chris-approved” endorsement! We plan to go back!

I don't have pictures of the hotel but it's a great location it is small though. Not those highrise hotels. Small pool, super clean. Clean rooms, clean linen. Friendly staff. I don't think the prices are the hotel's fault. I'm guessing it's demand. It doesn't include breakfast but there's a restaurant at the back of the hotel. The wait is longish. So, wake up early. We didn't eat there. There's an entry to the ocean from the back as well. 50 steps and you're there. They also provide 🏖️ and beach chairs at 40 to 60 from 11 to 6 if I'm not mistaken.
