SPI Wine Bar — Restaurant in South Padre Island

Came to SP for a family vacation and stopped at SPI Wine Bar to kill some time. It was perfect and such a great space where you could sit at the bar, grab a table, or hang out in this cozy little corner on some couches. The walls are decorated with art from local artists that you can purchase if you are a collector, which just added to the overall cool atmosphere. They had a lot of wines to choose from, including some floral wines for anybody sensitive to traditional red wines made with grapes. If wines aren't your thing they also had a good selection of craft beers. Combine all of the above with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and you're guaranteed to have a good time! Definitely looking forward to making future stops here any time we're lucky...

If you haven’t tried the SPI Wine Bar, wow, you are missing a spectacular experience! If you are like me and you love charcuterie trays, fresh strawberry salad, baked Brie, buttery shrimp, and incredible flatbread, SPI Wine Bar is the place to go. The wine selection, and the knowledgeable commentary from Jessica, is terrific, but this place isn’t just for wine drinkers. There is also beer, try a mango mimosa, or just have a Coke! There is also lovely local artwork on display which you can make your own. SPI Wine Bar is located next door to SPI Hardware. Say no to fomo....

If I could give 10 stars I would! SPI Wine Bar has always been our go to spot. Between their fine wine, good bites, and fun staff, it’s hard not to enjoy yourself! 10/10 recommend for a girls night out, date night, or just you time. They’ll make you feel right at home!
