I purchased slime tire sealant for my electric OneWheel board. It was a small leak and the slime sealant slowly oozed out of the tire, it did not help.

I went to the store with my receipt and bottle of slime sealant, I was sternly told that since It was used, I could not return it. I mentioned I will bring the electric board back to show them It leaks without sealing the tire.

I showed them the board with a leaky tire, they didn't seem happy about refunding my money and mentioned they will pass along the information that the product is crap in a loud and stern tone of voice in front of everyone as if to mock me.

As they were processing my credit card, they once again raised their voice and stated I would be getting my money back with an elevated tone of voice stated several times as I feel they were trying to mock me in front of others again.

I worked with distributors that sold and manufactured these products, I feel this should be brought up to the company please.

It’s a small Island Hardware store so I don’t think one should complain about not having everything you’re looking for but they will have most of it and some you didn’t know you were looking for. The bolt selection is better than the box stores, lots of stainless! It’s annoying that everything is behind a lock on a shelf and you have to find an employee to unlock. But they must’ve had a bad shoplifting experience in the past so I can get over that. The problem is that while most of the employees are helpful and cheerful the whole experience crashes at the cash register. The check out staff is terrible. No smiles, they give the impression that they don’t want to be there or be helping you. I write this post not after my 1 visit to the store but my 6th over a 3 day period at various times of day. Either management treats them poorly so they turn it on the customers or mgmt doesn’t care how they act and are missing a critical piece of the store’s...

This store does not take care of their customers! I purchased some replacement screen material. When I unrolled it, there were multiple light stripes running the length of the roll. I took it back to the store, with the receipt, but the manager would not refund without the cellophane wrapper! I came back later with the destroyed wrapper and after multiple questions, he granted the $9.78 refund; the problem is, it never showed up on our CC account! It was obvious to me that these people had no intention of refunding my money! I have spent hundreds of dollars in the store; not any more! I’m done!
