Art Business Incubator South Padre Island — Attraction in South Padre Island

If you love going to galleries, like we do, this place is a must. We've been to south padre 2 years in a row, and have been to the incubator twice. The place is set up to give beginning artists a place to show and and have one on one visits with the customers. We visited with 3 of the 5 artists that are part of this year's group. It was very interesting to get to meet them, and hear their stories. We were impressed enough to purchase a couple of small pieces. The 3 we meet were a painter, a paper artist, and a leather artist. Must visit the ABI when on Padre. This place is awesome! Meet the talented artists and see them working in the studio. The gallery is full of great finds! I purchased paintings from Sarah and Kathy the last time and ceramic pieces from Andy and a beautiful charcuterie board from their wood turner Ivan on my last visit. There are so many beautiful paintings and prints to choose from. It is a 501c3 non-profit so your purchases help sustain the program. I find something new every time I go. The have great workshops too to provide a hands on experience. Starting in May they will hold “Second Saturday” art shows....

Highly recommend checking out this great art studio on the island 🏝 They treated us with such kindness and were so welcoming! My two daughters loved the opportunity to paint a small canvas and Carol was so kind and generous with her time and knowledge! A big shout out to the host of the art exhibit on Saturday I didn't get her name but thank you for the refreshing beverage and kind welcome into your art space we will definitely be back and we Highly recommend to anyone visiting the island.
