Sandcastle building on the beach — Attraction in South Padre Island

It was cool. Worth the stop. Its kinda weathered. Just a suggestion maybe mix a little Portland in the top coat. I'm all about authenticity and all. Please take no offense but to stand the test of time it wouldn't hurt. Its still a sand castle with a hint of shale fired in a kiln around 600 degrees Celsius to burn off a little oxygen then mis just a bit with the natural sand maybe 5 to 1 just to help stand the test of time. Overall the sand castles are truly works of art. Very impressive, and a must see to believe. A great experience and will definitely return next year. The event was not as large as I was expecting. I am guessing there are not many sand castle exhibits in Texas so boasting about being the largest loses some steam. I thought it was going to be in the convention center, not a tent outside.
