Medina grill is great spot for delicious, quick, halal food. I think it’s the closest thing that resembles halal guys and Adels famous halal cart in NYC because of its combo and rice platters. The chicken is delicious. HoweverX think the halal guys/ Adels beef/lamb and rice is much more tasty and flavorful. The yellow rice lacks flavor and I wish they offered spicy rice like adels. Additionally, it would be great if they offered white sauce and hot sauce similar to halal guys/ Adels. Regardless, Medina grill is delicious in its own way and I would give it a 8/10. Definitely come here!

I came on a Tuesday at 1pm, but it was not super busy. Mary, one of the staff, greeted each customer who entered and was very friendly and helpful - 10/10 on customer service. Food came out in just a few minutes, and let me just say that "fast food" should not taste so good. I got the shawarma salad with both chicken and beef: tender, well-seasoned meat; fresh, crisp vegetables; crunchy pickles; and flavorful spicy and garlic tahini sauces. But, the real winners were the falafel bites - crunchy, lightly fried, light, and packing flavor. Very yum!

This experience was disappointing for a Mediterranean fast-food restaurant. The basmati rice in the Medina Bowl and the chicken in the Original Palestine were both dry. Additional tzatziki sauce with the meal could have alleviated this issue. I also found it off-putting that they asked how spicy I wanted everything and then applied a hidden upcharge for mild. The cost felt high, especially since I still felt slightly hungry after finishing my meal. To conclude on a positive note, the chef was friendly and asked about our dining experience.

First let me start by saying the gentleman who was making sandwiches, was very helpful when I walked in. It was my 1st time eating there after my friend let me taste her Mediterranean food from a different place. Everything was hot & fresh but unfortunately, it was not to my liking. I could taste the spices but it was tasteless if that makes sense...there was nothing that stood out. I thought the rice was seasoned but it didn't taste like it. The rice & chicken was dry. The pickled turnips did not taste like the other place...I should have followed my 1st mind & went to the place my friend went to. Again, customer service was great, ingredients were fresh but I'm not happy...

Fantastic experience here! My wife and I shared a Jerusalem with beef, grilled cheese, and some falafel bites. The Jerusalem was packed with an unbelievable amount of flavor. It's sort of like a Philly cheese but with less cheese and more peppers and onions. The grilled cheese was solid. The falafel bites completely avoided the common pitfall of being too dry and crumbly and had the perfect amount of moisture and texture to them. Not really a place where you talk about service because you walk in, place your order at the counter, and pick up when it's ready, but I do want to note the owner/manager (maybe cook, not sure) came out and asked how our food was and was friendly. I...

I ordered the Medina Bowl with extra meat. Honestly, it was a mixed experience. The bowl came packed with way more lettuce and tomato than rice, and even though I paid for extra meat, the portion didn’t feel worth the upcharge. The biggest letdown, though, was the falafel – dry, lacking flavor, and just disappointing overall.

On top of that, the price was astronomically high for what’s supposed to be a casual lunch. Service was just okay – not rude, but definitely not memorable or attentive.

Overall, I’d say Medina Grill is overrated and overpriced. If you’re looking for a satisfying Mediterranean bowl in STL, there are better spots that give you more value...
