We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Guam for a Valentine’s Weekend couples' getaway and had a truly wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach and within easy walking distance to everything you might want.||||Each morning, we woke up to stunning ocean views from our spacious, clean room. The bed was very comfortable, the large bathroom was convenient, and while some areas of the room and hotel show a bit of age, everything was extremely clean and well cared for, making it easy to relax and enjoy.||||One of our favorite little discoveries was the small coffee shop downstairs. We loved grabbing our morning coffee and fresh juices from Ignite — consistently great quality and a perfect way to start each day.||||The hotel’s location made everything easy. It’s a pleasant walk to Pleasure Island, where you’ll find luxury shops, restaurants, and entertainment. There’s an IHOP nearby if you're craving a classic breakfast, but we especially recommend checking out Kracked Egg — a local breakfast gem that we absolutely loved. Right across the street is Onigiri 7, a fantastic grab-and-go spot for fresh sushi and onigiri — perfect for a quick snack before heading to the pool or beach.||||The beachfront is absolutely beautiful — clear, calm waters that are ideal for swimming, lounging, or simply soaking in the view. The pool area was another highlight: peaceful, clean, and plenty of loungers available even during a busy holiday weekend.||||Service throughout our stay was top-notch. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and they made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a romantic and relaxing weekend.||||Our check-in was a bit later than we expected, but the hotel offered a voucher for the late check-in, which was a nice touch. However, we did wish they provided more than one voucher, as there were two of us staying in the room.||||The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the property, while still lovely, could use a few updates to fully match the luxurious feel expected from the Hyatt brand. That said, the amazing service, unbeatable location, and relaxed atmosphere made it a wonderful stay that we would absolutely repeat.||||Thank you, Hyatt Regency Guam, for making our Valentine’s Weekend so memorable — we look forward to...

As a Hyatt Diamond member I was extremely pleased with the staff at the Hyatt Regency in Guam. My wife and I were guests for nearly two weeks on business and witnessed continuous displays of professionalism and personal attention. First, I cannot thank Front Office Team Leader Jason enough for his quick response in resolving difficulties that the hotel did not cause. At the front end of my trip to Guam, I inadvertently scheduled July dates instead of June dates. I didn’t notice the error until just a couple of days before arrival. I contacted Jason and he immediately arranged for me to stay at the hotel on the correct dates. Near the end of my trip, a colleague joined me unexpectedly and again Jason was able to accommodate his stay. In both instances, the hotel was “booked” primarily with tourists and Jason went the extra mile to resolve these issues.

Second, the staff that tended to the Executive Lounge was outstanding. Thank you to Mercedes, Jasmine, Neil, Sikawa, Ronica, and Tristan for your attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and pleasant personalities. For those names I could not remember I apologize. You all were outstanding. Further, I want to point out that Mercedes and Neil, in particular, frequently initiated conversation by asking how our day was and we appreciated such attentiveness. Thank you all for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

Third, staff throughout the hotel and throughout the day nearly always greeted us with a smile and a “Hafa Adai”. The facilities were excellent. We loved the gym, the myriad of pools and rivers, the close proximity to the beach, and the nightly fire show. The hotel room was clean and properly made up each day, and we really appreciate the bottle of wine, the bottled waters, and the basket of fruit and cookies that greeted us in our room on the late night of our arrival. That was a perfect end to our day and a perfect start of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel during your...

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was truly a perfect experience from start to finish. At check-in, Katherine Aguon welcomed us warmly and even remembered us from our wedding event last year, which made us feel so special. She was professional, kind, and accommodating, and she graciously arranged a late checkout for us.||||Special thanks also go to Kimmy from the Guest Services team. We had trouble connecting our laptop to the TV with our own cable, and she not only sent IT staff to assist but also followed up with a solution. Within minutes, she had an adapter and HDMI cable delivered to our room, which worked perfectly and allowed us to enjoy movies on the large TV. Her thoughtfulness made our stay even better.||||Dining at Cafe Kitchen was consistently excellent. On our first breakfast, Rose provided wonderful service and made sure we were well taken care of. For our anniversary dinner, Riza recommended the family meal, which was absolutely delicious and came with a variety of dishes. She was kind, cheerful, and attentive throughout our evening, making it a memorable celebration. On our second breakfast, Myra and Jan gave us great service as well, being both friendly and attentive.||||We also had the pleasure of running into Gabby (Maria Gabriella Hizon) a few times in the lobby and at breakfast. She greeted us warmly and took the time to chat, which was such a kind gesture and added a personal touch to our stay.||||Overall, our anniversary staycation at Hyatt Regency was fun, memorable, and worth every moment. It was especially meaningful to celebrate at the same place where we were married. The staff made our weekend extra special with their outstanding service, and we are already looking forward to...

I recently stayed at the Hyatt REGENCY in Guam and overall, it was a pleasant experience that I would definitely recommend, with a few minor caveats. First and foremost, the service at the hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights for us was the ample and completely free parking—an often-overlooked amenity that made our stay much easier. The location of the Hyatt is also a significant advantage. It's conveniently situated close to a variety of restaurants and nightlife options, making it easy to explore the local scene. After a day of adventure, we loved being able to unwind at the beautiful beach right in the back of the hotel. The pool was a fantastic spot to relax and soak up the sun, with a welcoming atmosphere that made it a joy to spend time there. Now, onto the room—it was clean and comfortable, but admittedly a bit outdated. While the air conditioning was fantastic (and much appreciated in the Guam heat!), the overall decor felt older, and the shower was quite small. That said, I loved the view from the balcony, which added a lovely touch to our stay, and the bidet in the bathroom was a nice modern convenience. We did encounter a slight snag upon arrival; we got there at 3 PM, yet our rooms weren't ready. They offered us a drink voucher while we waited, which was thoughtful, although it was only valid for one person. A small gesture that could have been improved with a little more consideration. In summary, the Hyatt Guam delivered on service and location, and while the rooms could use some updating, our stay was overall enjoyable. With a beautiful pool, beach access, and nearby dining options, I would rate my experience an 4/5 I’d certainly consider returning for another stay!

Service was very friendly and professional but generally slow to fulfill requests, if they did so at all. I suspect they're badly understaffed. The décor was pretty; the little details show wear and tear - bubbling paint in corners, cracked countertops, corrosion at the edges of mirrors. The room was spacious but strangely laid out. Only one of the two nightstands was actually within reach of the bed. My partner wasn't with me on this trip, which is good because there was no way to set up both our CPAPs. The bath opens up to the rest of the room via sliding partitions, and if the doors and curtain are open, there's an unbroken line of sight from the toilet to the pool. The hardwood floor has no rugs; it was slippery under my socks and made the room echo. The light switches are oddly hooked up, there are two "master" switches (one by the door and one behind the nightstand, unreachable) and I struggled to figure out which lights were connected to them, but they included the water closet and standing lamp. There were very few available outlets - all the wall plugs were taken up by the sparse lighting, and the provided USB ports in the alarm clock and desk lamp didn't work well. I requested a power strip to make up for it, which never came. There's a small aviary near the pool. I was distressed at the condition of the cockatiels, which were balding and clearly unhappy, with little enrichment in their small enclosures. The Macaws seemed to be in somewhat better condition.

Overall the room we stayed in looked a bit dated but more modern than some hotels here on Guam. Bathroom was good and clean as was the overall room, no complaints here. Room service was good and all the staff throughout the hotel was very friendly. We only had one very strange incident that happened after 36 hours of our stay here. At around 7:30am we found a folded letter that was shoved down our door saying that our room needs inspection by the manager as we had our privacy sign on for 24 hours + (!?!) I've been to many hotels but never had this notice after a little more than 1 day stay. Look we're not loud, don't have the TV on loud, even on a club/lounge level so we paid more than enough for the room. I called the manager and told him how upset I was about the tone of the note. Look they called us about anything by room phone, even asking if we enjoyed our stay so far, which we did, so why not call us instead of a letter? It made me feel like a not-wanted hotel guest. After talking to the manager in person,he agreed that the letter should be phrased much better and said they would review that policy. Let's hope so as it negatively impacted our stay. On a positive note the restaurants are awesome and especially their Italian restaurant is worth a dinner (or 2). However, due to the drama with the letter I will reconsider another hotel on Guam first again before going here again. Too bad though as the pool is awesome and one of the biggest one on the island.
