Hidden in Plain Sight

I noticed a crowd outside a place in Tumon that I’ve driven by almost every day for a year but never stopped to check out. I finally decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did.

Parking was easy at the Dusit Thani, and from there, it was a short walk through Dusit Place to the street-side entrance. One of the owners greeted me personally and you could tell right away how much pride they take in their business—it shines through in everything, right down to the staff. All the food is made fresh on site.

Our server, Monica, was outstanding. A seasoned pro—attentive, friendly, always smiling, and she made us feel like family from the start.

She suggested we kick things off with a local favorite: Kelaguen with homemade titiyas—absolutely amazing. Next up, she recommended the ribs and steak to go along with our beers and cocktails. Perfect call. The steak was generous for the price and honestly one of the best-cooked steaks I’ve ever had. The fries were thinner, lightly salted—just right. The baby back ribs fell off the bone, and the BBQ sauce was spot-on: sweet, tangy, and delicious. We also tried the new Smash Burger, wow.. This is definitely my new go-to hangout. The patio is great for people-watching, and the vibe is just right. If you’re in Tumon, this spot is absolutely...

I tried to give this place another try…

The first time I ate here, I sat outside alone and was never checked on and when I needed the bill, I raised my hand and the server tyler ignored me and walked away. I had to go in and ask to pay. It was only 2-3 tables mind you.

Burger was still good so I came back to try eat street out again with some friends and it wasn’t the best… Our food did not come out for almost 40-45 minutes, we had to remind the same server about our missing drinks. Yes it was a bit busy so it’s understandable. After we were done with our meal and was ready to pay, my friend raises her arms and the same server smirked and looked like he rolled his eyes, but he came and took our payment.

Food is amazing Service, not so much. Would recommend the smash burgers and their...

We ordered the 14oz rid eye it was good but for the price we pay and they didn't even have A1 steak sauce. Chicken chili cheese was very bland missing a lot of flavors and very few cheese we barely ate it. I order the beef burger I believed its new its delicious but then again the size was not matching what we paid. Service was great the guy was new as he was sharing with us very friendly. The place was a little warm they were using a portable cooling fan that blow cool air but still really warm and little damp. The pictures they have on the wall was beautiful and mirror wall make an illusion that the place is big which I think is pretty cool. Overall experience is ok I rather go to Longhorn for almost same price but...

Honestly the food was really great but we were truly offended by a particular female server (didn't see her name but she was petite, served us on Oct 4th Saturday evening) She kept ditching us and neglicting our requests on purpose not to mention tossing napkins and plates disrespectfully. I think she should seriously consider changing her job if she's got problems with serving Asian customers, since Tumon beach is full of Asians in the first place 🤔 Meanwhile the male server was really sweet and friendly. Cheers to that guy. I just really want to mention she ruined our evening for sure, think someone in charge of eat street grill should be aware of this. Thanks for the lovely food though, it was amazing.
