Comfortable. Pricy. Great service. Great food.
Did not know this place existed. The restaurant is quite small in comparison to their other restaurants on property with lots of intimate couple seating near the garden/pool view. This establishment is a semi fine dining restaurant with no strict attire requirements to eat here. The server greeted and seated us quickly without a reservation on a Friday night during the holidays. The menu has some good offerings and the servers can recommend a nice wine pairing to go with your entree. We opted for a Quattro cheese pizza for an appetizer and it is amazing...not your usual cheese pizza and comes with a side of honey to drizzle on top. It may sound weird but it's a delicious match. As the name suggests, their pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and was very tasty. My thick tenderloin steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and did not disappoint. While the pizza and entree's were delicious, their bread service was lacking and is nothing to brag about. Simple bread with simple olive oil and vinaigrette sauce...wasn't terrible but wasn't great. The service was great overall with the kitchen staff coming out to visit diners and check on the food. The wine selection is decent and the staff are also knowledgeable of the differences between the wines they offer. The prices of the items are quite high, but warranted as the overall experience justified the cost. Lastly, if you or another member of your party has vision problems, this may not be the place to come as it is very dim with a single candle per table and is hard to see and...

Waitstaff was TOP NOTCH, extremely watchful, attentive and not overly asking if everything was ok which was nice as it was wifey and husband time.
Got the Valentine's 5 course dinner for two $220
Food: Appetizers, salad, extremely small portions but tasty, enough for a mouse...
Soup was fantastic, perfect portion.
Main course was unfortunately underwhelming. Steak was tasty, fish was rubbery and bland. They dropped one 9oz steak and fish in one skillet which we had to split ๐คฆโโ๏ธ they should have cut it in half and placed it on separate plates instead of us having to cut it ourselves and drip on the table while distributing the portions to each other. This was probably the most disappointing presentation of a main course or meal to be honest.
Dessert was partially melted when it arrived, it was very tasty but the melted ice cream was also a disappointing presentation.
Overall I would think twice before...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is the second time I came here, the first time being a week ago. The first time the Reginette Nere or squid ink pasta was amazing! This time it was overcooked and mushy. This is a Italian restaurant, and the name of the restaurant is Al Dente, you would assume they know how to cook their pasta. The tiramisu looked great the first time so I ordered it tonight. Sadly, instead of a light dusting of cocoa powder they put a thick layer on top and basically ruined what promised to be really good tiramisu.
After talking to the waitress, there is no executive chef currently working there. Apparently the sous chefs are also new and so the food is really hit or miss. When we tried to talk to the manager, he was at another restaurant and had to come clear across the hotel to us. I know they can be really good, as it was the first time, but this time was a big...
