LA MICHOACANA TAOS — Restaurant in Four Corners States

I heard about the chocolate Dubai cup and wanted to try for myself. I’ve been wanting to bring my kids there for awhile and thought this would be a nice treat. I hate to be negative because I know how hard it is to run a business. I also watch my money and going out is a treat. Unfortunately this was super disappointing. This cup cost us $17, and when we ordered four for my whole family, we were shocked to see the total was $68 plus tax, especially since they don't have their prices posted anywhere. We ended up ordering only two and shared them with the family, which was still $35. The cup contained just chocolate and uncut strawberries, which made it difficult to eat. The place was kind of cute, but also dark and smelled funny. So here we go again. Been here a few times and results may vary. Family has always got their order right but never me lol. This last time I ordered a clamato preparado but they put the smallest price of beef jerky and no shrimp. Other times they just put like two shrimp. It's always the same young girls. So this time I brought it up to their attention and she said " we don't have any more shrimp" and promptly walked around the corner so we could end the conversation. I'm not one to complain and rest of family was having a good time. I think I would have been more okay with it if they either didn't sell me the item if they didn't have it or substituted it for something even cheaper. Welp this didn't happen. First time trying this place. We went in there tonight. The drinks were good but the service on the other hand was horrible . We walked in there and the girl looked at us gave us a dirty look and then looked right back at her phone and did not say a thing to us. I wanted to walk right out but my daughter wanted to try this place. So we decided to order and paid for our stuff.This girl had no knowledge of the menu. Every question we asked, she did not know anything. After making our drinks she set them on the counter and did not say a thing to us then proceeded to start cleaning and banging things around.
