A Delightful and Charming Haven - A Salty Little Sweet Shop
As an admirer of all things elegant and refined, I simply must share our recent experience at a quaint and charming establishment in the lovely town of Taos, New Mexico. A Salty Little Sweet Shop, located at 105 B Quesnel, is a delightful destination for those seeking the finest artisanal treats and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Upon entering the shop, one is immediately struck by the meticulous care taken in the presentation and organization of the space. Beautifully displayed confections and other delights are thoughtfully arranged, creating a visual feast that beckons one to explore further. The attention to detail is truly reminiscent of the artful table settings and decor one might find in the pages of Martha Stewart Living.
The owner, Holli Everson, is a delightful woman whose kindness and welcoming demeanor adds to the charm of this little haven. She is knowledgeable and passionate about her craft, taking the time to share the stories and inspiration behind each of her delectable creations. From the moment I stepped through the door, Holli made us feel like an honored guest in her sweet sanctum, offering her expertise and recommendations tailored to our taste.
And, of course, one cannot overlook the presence of Holli's adorable and very friendly pup, Zen. This little canine companion adds a touch of whimsy and warmth to the shop, greeting each visitor with a wag of his tail and an expression of pure joy. Zen's presence is a delightful reminder of the comforts of home and the simple pleasures in life.
A Salty Little Sweet Shop offers an exquisite array of handcrafted candies, chocolates, and other gourmet delights that are simply irresistible. From the velvety, rich truffles to the crisp, delicate sea-salt caramels, each treat is a testament to Holli's dedication to quality and taste. It is truly a pleasure to savor these unique and delightful confections, knowing the love and care that has gone into their creation.
In conclusion, my visit to A Salty Little Sweet Shop was a truly delightful and memorable experience. The enchanting atmosphere, the warm and genuine hospitality of Holli Everson, and the presence of the endearing pup, Zen, all contribute to a destination that is not to be missed. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming gem to anyone seeking a taste of something special and a moment of respite from...

I can say all were absolutely delicious. The addition of apple bites on the snickerdoodle cookie (if my memory is right) was a nice surprise & a great addition. The cinnamon bun bread pudding was out of this world. Holli suggested heating it at home & adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I didn't want to finish it in one try so I saved half of it & ate the rest for breakfast the next morning because it was soooo Good. If you live in Taos or you're just visiting get yourself to this bakery for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat an adorably quaint shop. My son and I randomly walked by this shop which was tucked away, off the main street. We purchased the Strawberry Milkshake & Coconut Lime cookies as well as the Lemon Bar. A nice treat at the end of our evening. If you have even the slightest sweet tooth, this is the place for you. The owner makes dog treats too!! We took a couple of samples home to our pups and they loved them. She makes them with spent grains from a local brewery. Great way to reuse an ingredient that would have ended up in the garbage. I love to support small local businesses so I will definitely be back! Unfortunately I did not have time to take pics. We devoured our treats...
