The food was fresh, authentic, and delicious! The litmus test of any Mexican restaurant for us starts with chips, salsa, and guacamole. The guacamole had the perfect amount of cilantro and just a bit of tomato. The chips were warm, crisp, and had just the right amount of salt. I didn't get a picture before it was mostly gone. Make sure they bring out the two extra sauces, which are clearly homemade and very delicious. The green is mild and the red has just a bit of spice-- A perfect compliment to the food, which is tasty, but not over seasoned. The beans are my favorite style of refried beans – thick and hearty. I usually like plain Mexican style rice, and this had more flavor, but it didn't compete with the other flavors in the dishes. The only very small critiques are that the music volume could have been turned down maybe 10%-- but it could have also just been that I was hot and tired. It would've been nice to have had some small share plates when the chips and guacamole came out. But no biggie. While not on the menu, they made some lovely vegan tacos. The chicken in the rolled tacos was very tender and moist, not dried out, which is common elsewhere. My mother-in-law enjoyed the shrimp with side salad, especially with the addition of the two complementary sauces. We'll definitely be back.

We were on vacation with our two Aussies and looked specifically for some Mexican food that allowed dogs. After calling to double check that dogs were allowed, we drove to Mariscos. For a Sunday afternoon around 2 it was pretty quiet. Only two other tables. They have 4-5 tables outside and maybe twice that inside. Our waitress was a sweet young lady that was prompt and always checking on us. Started the lunch off with chips and guacamole. Loved the homemade and warm chips almost as much as that freshly made guacamole. When they served our lunch we both were blown away by the large helpings. Come to this place hungry. My chicken quesadilla was good but could only finish half of it. My wife said her burrito was good as well and likewise could only finish half. Great small place with good food.

Very cute restaurant a medium-sized eating area. They had a good menu with lots of options including many dessert options. My husband had the carnitas tacos (not pictured), which he said were yummy but a little dry. I had the crispy (golden) tacos with chicken and guacamole. There was a generous amount of chicken and guacamole and all the ingredients were fresh. Very good!

I gave 3 stars because the first meal I had here was acceptable. I ordered barbacoa tacos the other day and they were at least 75% fat. I almost threw up after the first bite. I opened the tacos and picked out all of the big masses of fat and afterwards there was barely any meat left. The barbacoa was not really shredded either, it was more like carne asada. Not sure what happened there but I'm not going to waste my money again. It is also too expensive. For $13 plus tax, I expect something at least edible. The girl at the window abruptly told me to wait while she finished sending a message on her phone. Very...
