Target — Local services in The Woodlands

Ordered a tree for pick up 11/24. Came to the store to pick it up on 11/25. I waited over 40 minutes for them to find my tree. First the guy came back with a tree that had another person's name on it. He said there was one other tree, but it also wasn't my name. He then had to have someone else help him look. He came back and said my tree wasn't there, but someone would be going to get me one off the floor. I waited a long time. I finally asked another person to check on the status. She came back and said they couldn't find the tree, but the guy was going to look one more time. Finally, the girl came up to the counter with the tree. I will say there were several people that came up and had their orders to them quickly, but there was another lady there with her two kids that was waiting before I got there on an order she placed. Finally after a very long time, they said they didn't have her item. This should have never happened. For my item, it was obviously misplaced or not put in the proper place. I should have never had to wait that long. For the other lady, if the item wasn't in stock, she should have received a notification, but she never did. We both had to wait forever with our small children for something that should...

I really like this target, although, today I had awkward experiences. As usual I'm greeted at the door by awesome staff and helped when I'm lost looking for things. But when I went to visit the cosmetics section I felt awkward and unwanted. I have no idea what I'm doing when looking for makeup. I'm a bit tomboyish and only wear eyeliner. When I asked for help, the girl working there just looked at me up and down and just pointed to the wall when I asked if they had liquid pens. I didn't even bother looking anymore. She made me feel awkward and pathetic. At check out I stood there alone waiting for help at the self check out. I get that everyone was busy but it would've been nice if someone looked up and said they'd help me as soon as they could or called someone else who was available. When I finally got help the girl was sweet and quick and apologized for being busy. It actually made up for it. But that other girl at the cosmetics was just very prissy and gave off that "I'm all that and a bag of chips" kind of vibe. I'm avoiding that...

When Michael a target employee (young guy early 20's) Took it upon him self to stock the card aisle after a big rush on friday. He was able to make some kids really happy this week. I went to the target by the woodlands mall on friday around 9:00pm with my nephews ages 7,8,11 who have been on the look out for the new pokemon celebration card since last month. We were finally able to find some with the help of michael. We always buy trading cards from target and when i saw a target employee stocking i knew automatically that this guy is going above and beyond to keep shelves stocked. He was nice friendly and even gave my nephews a couple of cards from his own collection when he saw how excited they got from the packs on the shelves. Customer service like that is hard to find. I worked in retail for over 10 years and he is the perfect example of what an employee should strive to be. Helpful, friendly, and kind.
