Date of Stay Sat Feb 25, 2023 Dated hotel in need of an update – which it looks like they are working on while we were there. There was a lot of work happening when we were there – at least signs of work – plastic drop cloths. Torn up carpet, warning signs, etc. The service at the front desk was less than stellar. I have booked many many hotels over the years – and my passport has always been acceptable ID every other time. When he asked for ID & Credit card – I gave passport and credit card and he insisted on a drivers license – which I do not possess. He got a bit huffy and just handed it back to me. He handed me the room key and instructed where the room was – no niceties. The room was adequate. Not spectacular – but comfortable and clean enough for one night. The beds are a bit old – and the pillows are a bit soft – needing to be replaced. The bathroom could also use an upgrade in the near future– the tub is js just a shower surround. The breakfast buffet – contained some eggs and meats – breads, yogurts, waffles. However – the selection was very bare when we got down there. There was no freshness. The coffee was just adequate. I wouldn’t make breakfast here a priority. There is plentyof onsite parking. Overall this hotel is adequate – and for a fairly inexpensive place to stay one night – it will be fine. I did not see any signs of unexpected guests in the beds.

I had an enjoyable 5 day stay for business purposes. Room and facility were very clean and they take many precautions to keep everyone safe. Bed and pillows were very comfy. I slept well every night. Housekeeping doesn't tend to your room unless requested due to Covid but I was ok with that. I'm self sufficient and had plenty of towels. No breakfast either which was fine with me also, i brought my own knowing that was a possibility. They do offer coffee and juice though. Lots of shopping and restaurants on thr other side of the highway which was convenient. Next door is Anchor Bar which prides themselves as being the founders of the original Buffalo wing. Only thing that was a challenge at the hotel is the open closet. I'm only 5'3" and the hangers are really high. If I was any shorter I would not have been able to reach. (See picture w/bathrobe and ironing board for reference). I could nitpick about the ceiling patch job in the bathroom but it didn't effect my nice hot shower. I would definitely stay here again. I'm a Wyndham rewards member which Iis one of the reasons I chose this hotel when reading the reviews.

Overall very good, small but clean rooms w helpful amenities of microwave and small refrigerator. There are many restaurants, stores and fast food located up the street northbound but mainly bars southbound. Vending machines are pricey, stop to stock your fridge. My mother liked the beds more than I did but comfortable enough for me. The A/C worked well and the shower performed as expected. Breakfast was not well attended to and lacking adequate restocking but was cleanly. The waffles are very good but, like most places, one waffle iron is slow for a family, much less many guests. Do not leave pets unattended, you get a nasty note on your door publicity calling you out. That was unpleasant. Dog potty area has plenty of grass and complimentary waste bags. Dog rooms often located first floor close to dog business area.

This hotel has recently been remodeled, the beds were clean and firm, and the room seemed mostly cared for, though the bathroom floor was a bit sticky. Overall, I would've been fine staying there for a night if it were just based on the outward look of things. However, the problems started the moment we tried to check in, and the clerk explained that the park/sleep/fly program they advertised was "a bit more complicated" the price was "variable" and you couldn't actually park onsite, you had to park somewhere else then take a shuttle back to the hotel and that would "Take awhile." We were already checking in late at night for an absurdly early flight so we disappointedly decided to forgo that option even though it was one of the main reasons we booked here.

Then we left the check-in area and were immediately assaulted with the smell of marijuna smoke so thick it burned my eyes. I am not a prude at all, but this was insane. I felt like I'd stepped into a bad parody movie. The smell was better in our room, but not gone completely and it persisted all night. I woke up with red rimmed eyes and a runny nose, but again, with an early flight we decided to just pull the covers over our heads and try to sleep. I wish we had just left, because the dogs started barking around 11:00pm...multiple dogs in at least two different rooms, and it went on ALL NIGHT. One dog would start up for no apparent reason and set the others off. I could hear the dogs clearly, and I could hear other people complain, but I never heard anyone from the staff respond. It was a mess, and honestly one of the worst nights of sleep I've had in years, but no one working there seemed to care much or try to stop it.

So this places was loud, smokey, sticky, complicated, and not exactly what's advertised. We will not ever stay here again, which is a bummer because we are Wyndham Rewards members and with the remodel and the location I would've really liked to make this a regular stay ahead of early...

We arrived at this hotel on Saturday Aug 30th. Needless to say we will never be returning again. First the lady at the front desk seemed very overwhelmed with her workload as she was the only staff working the entire property. We witnessed her cut people off on the phone and hang up on them. Check in was okay but very disorganized. Once we headed to our room we were greeted with a hallway that stunk of smoke. Once we got inside our room the pillows had black makeup stains on them, the sheets had a blood stain on one bed, rotting food left on the window ledge and some substance smeared on the bathroom walls. The overall cleanliness of the room was filthy and we questioned if it was actually cleaned prior to our arrival. We went down to the front desk to ask to change rooms and we’re told the hotel was fully booked. No cleaning staff on site and no managers present. The woman at the front desk wanted to see the issues so she came up and started pulling pillow cases off the pillows and said this was the best she could do because there was no housekeeping working. We asked her why this room was in such distress and she replied “it’s disgusting and she wouldn’t even stay there.” We ended leaving the hotel and we were not able to find another and Expedia didn’t offer to assist us now that we were stranded without a room so we drove 4 hours home to Canada that evening.

This hotel offered no other room, no accommodation, no service and no refunds. Please avoid this property at all costs as we were very unhappy and disappointed with our service and hotel cleanliness and will...

BED BUGS IN ROOM 127

The wall mounted AC/Heater was sagging inside the wall opening, creating a gap and a draft. I informed the gentlemen who was working desk at the time. He looked at me like I had 5 heads and told me he would let his boss know. No offer of another room, no apologies. I reported it to a different desk attendant yesterday. He was much more professional than the first. I told him that I had rolled up a towel and placed it along the gap to cut the draft. It wasn’t a big deal, and I didn’t need another room. Its been unseasonable warm this week. If it were 20 degrees outside I would definitely be requesting a new room.

This morning (my checkout date) I found two bed bugs crawling on me. I caught one and brought it to the front desk. Again, it was the unprofessional attendant. He was smirking at me while I handed him a live bed bug in a cup. He offered no apologies, no refunds, nothing. All he had to say was “Ok, I’ll tell my boss later.” I said, “Are you kidding me, that’s all you have to say?” He immediately became defensive and started giving me attitude. I told him that I would be calling the health department this morning. He told me to, “have fun with that”. He then informed me that I was checked out and asked me to leave.

I have never experienced such disrespectful and negligent customer service. The first time I stayed at this hotel was about 6 months ago and I had a poorly cleaned room. I was also treated poorly by the front desk at that time. I should have known better than to give them another chance....
