I would have given a zero if it was an option. We went to get lunch and ice cream after a great morning celebrating Mother’s Day with our family. Ordered our food and the young girl at the register was having all sorts of issues trying to cash us out I was using cash, one would think this would be simple. Then we sat down in a corner both and waited for our food. I noticed the large picture on the wall behind where my wife was sitting in the booth was covered with splattered ice cream, table was not wiped and hadn’t been for a while. Then we went up to get our ice cream after we finished eating and had a token from my sons meal for his ice cream as we wanted it after his meal, so we used that for his cone and ordered two blizzards as well. Again took girl at register forever to figure out she owed me $1.46 change and she didn’t even get it right she gave me 1.41 instead, didn’t care it was only $0.05, but again frustrating that it took her literally forever to cash us out. Then she hands me my Son’s vanilla ice cream cone, I nicely said it’s suppose to have rainbow sprinkles. She looked at me like I had 10 heads, then walked to the back and talked to two other girls who were making the ice cream dishes and came back and said oh that’s not included with the meal/token. I said ok I can pay extra and she just said ok and walked away, I didn’t feel like having to talk to her again at this point, so I just listened to my 3 year old son complain that daddy didn’t get him sprinkles for the next 10 minutes while he ate his ice cream. I get businesses are hard pressed for team members right now but that girl has to go! Also, please clean your establishment absolutely disgusting, other DQs in the area are much...
Read moreThis was one of the most bizarre drive-thru experiences I've had. After talking into the "place your order" speaker several times, loudly, I thought maybe it was broken and drove straight to the window. Stopping at the window only furthered my confusion, as I yelled, beeped at, and waved my hands trying to get Charles to look up from his phone and realize we were waiting. When he finally put down his phone, to get back to the job he was being paid for, he seemed annoyed we had taken him away from adding to his screen time. The rest won't come as a surprise...anything we asked he had an attitude about. Is the speaker working to order? Yea. Well no one responded to us. Well, that's not my job. WOW Charles! After these very professional responses, I decided we'd take another lap around the drive-thru and try to order again. Again no one answered, and again we were forced to deal with Charles. Again, after telling us it was his first day on the job, and the reason why he didn't know (or seem to care about anything), he was completely rude and seemed bothered by our presence. The ideal way to treat customers spending hard earned money at the restaurant you work out. I can't remember all the rude remarks Charles had while we waited for our blizzards, but I remember everything he said being shockingly rude. So much so, that I made sure to remember the name CHARLES for when I wrote this review. If we didn't love the ice cream so much, we would have definitely just left after he spoke to us with the level of arrogance and disrespect he did. This Dairy Queen location definitely needs to upgrade their employee screening process. If I return to this location, and he is the person involved in my order, I will ask for someone...
Read moreI went to the Transit road Lancaster New York location at 4:00 p.m. on 10/30/24. There were only two cars in line ahead of me but the one was waiting to order for over 12 minutes so I left the line to go inside to place my order. The lighting near the front area was not on so it was very dim. I ordered two medium blizzards which cost almost $16, and they didn't have any extras added to them. When my blizzard was handed to me the ice cream consistency looked very thin and liquidy, the other blizzard had a consistency that was a little bit better. When I mentioned the way the the ice cream looked the lady said that they were fine, apologized for the wait and then proceeded to say that they were behind with serving because they had a grill fire earlier in the afternoon. Even though she was polite she was being very dismissive about my comment regarding the ice cream consistency. I put the blizzards in my freezer as soon as I arrived home. This did not help improve the consistency of the ice cream even though I had my blizzard in the freezer 4 hours before attempting to consume. So I basically wasted $16 today. Later in the day I was able to find the time the report of the fire was dispatched and it was at 13:40 hrs. Why was this business open if a fire occurred only a few hours earlier than the time of my visit? The moral of this review is I won't be returning to this Dairy Queen...
