Don't even bother going. This place is truly garbage. Save yourself a headache and being lied to and stolen from and just order the exact same things online with better warranties AND for cheaper prices on both new and used items. They have almost nothing in stock and will have to order it. Their employees have incredibly limited knowledge of their products. Their so-called "guarantee" on their equipment is a blatant lie and only serves to rob even more from the customers. I recently tried to claim their equipment guarantee and was told that it wasn't their fault that they sold me a NON-WORKING game controller and the only thing they could do was exchange it for an even more expensive controller where I'd have to pay the difference AND pay extra for the coverage AGAIN and NOT be refunded the protection plan that I paid for FOR JUST SUCH AN OCCASION!!!! I gave them one last chance to correct the problem. They haven't. They probably never will and I feel a fool for expecting they would care about their customers. When I pointed out to staff that the Pokémon game they had in stock was a reproduction they argued with me. I showed them the inconsistency’s with the cartridge ( cartridge was grey not black, it was not translucent, label color clearly wrong ) they proceeded to prioritize their profits and “disagree” after I showed numerous examples. This is a nearly $100 game that is being knowing sold as authentic, when staff know it is a cheap $5 reproduction huge difference in value. This is one of many examples I’ve had with this specific location over the last 12 months. Staff did not explain policy or help my 13 yr old and myself understand the amount of memory that would be needed to use the app. We wanted to exchange it for a game cartridge they had in stock. We were refused that opportunity and told we could spend another 35 dollars on a memory card. The staff was informed this was his birthday money and that an exchange would help us. The staff told me to call Nintendo, so I did, the customer service at Nintendo was shocked that Game stop would not exchange for the game cartridge.
