Yesterday I went thru the drive thru the whole experience was almost 20 min! I did not see a way out after ordering. This man ridiculed how I ordered. I asked for a ham and cheese roll up. He acted like he didn't know what I meant, after more rudeness. He said you mean a croissant? I said yes! He says that's French, don't you know French? Then with more attitude asked if I wanted anything else? I told him I would like a tea if he is done acting like a clown! He felt that I was rude and unjust, he sarcastically told me the kinds of tea and I told him. He still couldn't stop. When I pulled forward I heard him tell the next guy "welcome to Starbucks where we take our coffee very seriously" when I got to the window I decided not to react and argue. He asked me what's the matter? Don't you like how I took your order? ( I am paraphrasing this, I was surprised he was still carrying on). I acted like I wasnt upset - I really didn't want to play his game. He then told me how he got in trouble for speaking to me like that, his boss didn't like it but they are going to rename this to a ham and cheese roll-up just for you. He then leaned out the window to talk to me and ask me what my plans were for the day. Then saw my wedding ring and said omg look at that rock, did you buy it for yourself? I did say my wonderful husband bought it. Then he told me when he gets out of work, he was going to work on his tan!!! By then another female staff had made my tea!?! I thought for sure it was a joke because how can this behavior possibly be acceptable? I did try to call the store and the number is disconnected. If the owner or manager reads this. What do you have to say! "You're sorry?" I don't know his name but he has dark skin...
Read moreI travel to 15 counties within NY state throughout the week, I have stopped in (quite literally) every coffee shop in those counties. This particular store has been my number one go-to-favorite since the first time I went there.
Why? What makes THIS Starbucks standout from the rest? A LOT. The very first time I came into this store the first thing I saw was a bulletin board that was hanging on aa wall near the restrooms. There was a handmade sign on this board that said to me: THIS IS A PLACE I WANT TO BE AT. 💚💚💚 I immediately snapped 📸🤳a photo, which I still look at every now and then and then. (Photo included below) The team that makes up the staff at this location in Malta go above and far beyond what it is their job entails. They know their people because they aren’t just customers, they are people who have went from strangers to friends and for those of us who have been lucky, they’ve become like family. This store and it’s employees are able to make me a drink even when I’ve ordered ahead and they’re out of the thing I’ve ordered; they know me well enough to improvise and have an alternative ready and waiting. They are the local ‘Cheers’, the place where you go and everyone truly...
Read moreBathrooms are very important when your main product being sold is coffee. The bathrooms were dirty (mirrors, floor, toilets, sink, door, walls), dusty, and out of toilet paper in both bathrooms. Now at this time of day 10:16am, everyones usually on their way to work, at work, and/or starting their day of travel. I read on the sign that there are 30 employees, 7 of which were on this morning. I did tell one gentlemen and he said he was aware, and will tend to it. It seems like its a really fun place to work with everyone joking around and laughing, but you also need to do your job, thats what you are paid to do. Not the employees fault, but the parking lot is a mess, if you park anywhere, you will have to wait to get out if there is a wrap around line with the drive thru. Employees seemed friendly though. Decent location right off 87, the best way to get in from highway, is to take round about to 3rd turn off, and then turn right into parking lot. If youre coming the opposite direction, turn at the first exit on the...
