Yummy and so delightful!!! This place is GORGEOUS!!
Ambiance wise, it has a very earthy tone, a mix of blue and green with lots of plants and earthy lighting. Very clean looking and refreshing looking! Iโd come back even just to appreciate its interior design! Next, I am dairy-free, so I got a vanilla oat milk latte which was so creamy and delicious I had to compliment the staff afterward just to tell them 11/10. The place has WiFi and tables and itโs lovely for getting some work done or studying. This place was recommended to me by a good friend. I didnโt yet try their food. I donโt think they have any dairy free pastries or food options :(. So I canโt judge the food. But if I could offer a very people-pleasing simple recommendation, can you make and sell some simple vegan options such as perhaps: banana bread/muffin or pumpkin bread/muffin?
Updated Review:2/21/22 I cannot emphasize again how much I LOVE this place! Favorite coffee spot on Long Island for sure. Also, they serve more dairy free options now!!!!! Music to my ears! They can also make their sandwiches dairy free too! Iโm so happy! I come here nearly once a week! Thank you Cafe Inn!!!:)

The place was clean, and the service was extremely welcoming and patient as we perused through the menu, unsure of what to order.
We ordered several different things, each fulfilling our pleasure paletes, both savory and sweet. The salmon avocado toast was excellent - served with pickled onion, arugula, tomatoes, avocado, capers, cream cheese and of course salmon. This one hit the spot for a brunch option.
The cheese melt was toasted to perfection; the bread was fresh, and had a perfect crunch to it. Inside it was cheese, as you'd expect, but what really leveled it up was the green onions, adding a unique but extremely complementary flavor to the melt. Another 10/10 option.
The food may have been the star of the show, but the coffee is not to be underestimated. There are tons of different options, but if you're not settled on the standard selection there are always creative seasonal options to choose from.
This was our first, but not our last time coming here. A must try on...

Imagine seeing shaved ice bingsu on blown up signs once you get there, a cool and brisk reprieve on a sweltering hot summer day. Then imagine asking the baristas for them and being told a) that menuโs a year old so no crepe cake and b) no shaved ice, period. Fine, letโs get one of those really awesome looking macarons in the display case. But wait, those are for display only, there are no macarons. What?
So we settled for two of their lemonade drinks to rehydrate because remember itโs sweltering out, and what we end up getting is basically just seltzer mixed with some sugary flavored syrup.
I wouldโve been at least somewhat satisfied if the people working there had the slightest empathy, but they seemed just as uninvolved and emotionally unavailable as everything we were...
