Over the holidays, we decided to gift ourselves new comfortable chairs. In the past, we always seemed to purchase in a hurry and a few times have regretted snap decisions. Once my husband retired, I have committed to eradicate rash decisions! Yes, it is a work in progress…. So, I resolved to take the time to purchase chairs really suited to our needs. (mainly comfort for ageing skeletons) Luckily, we met Bob Delisle @ Choice Furniture on Route 3 Plattsburgh who completely understood. He is the most approachable, knowledgeable and patience sales person I ever had the pleasure to work with. In our quest, we returned to Choice at least 4 times, sat in every chair at least twice and followed up with several phone calls. Each time Bob was kind and informative. He clearly wanted to sell us chairs but was equally interested in making sure we purchased what was best for us. The last one was delivered and we could not be happier! If you are in the market for furniture or appliances (Sears); check out Choice Furniture! If you see Bob, tell him I said: “Thanks, again. We...
Read moreI would never shop there again. We ordered a leather recliner and were told it would take 2 months. That was okay but then I got a call from Willy who told me he was calling from home with a bad case of covid and the chair would take 6 months so I cancelled it and said I would take one we saw on the floor. When I went back 2 days later there was Willy without a mask. After he checked me out he ran for the back of the store he was obviously still sick. I backed my car up to the door and wandered around waiting for someone to load it up for at least 20-25 minutes getting more aggravated by the second. Finally a very nice employee that was busy with other customers asked if I needed help. He went to the back of the store looking for help and came back looking like he did not know what to do because no one was available to help him. Luckily a customer offered to help and they put the chair in my car. Guess its cash and carry. Oh and we hate the LaZBoy recliner because like everything else they're not the quality they once were. This happened in...
Read moreHad a horrible experience buying furniture from this store. I paid in full for a $1300+ special ordered couch in the colors and fabrics I chose, before it ever came in. When the couch arrived I was called the morning of, and went to pick it up after I had finished work. After helping the manager search for 20+ minutes, we still hadn't found it in their small receiving room. He finally found MY custom built couch on the show room floor priced out on display ready to sell to another customer. Did the manager give me an additional discount for his mistake? NO! Instead he put the blame on everyone else that works there! When I got home I found that the chaise on the sectional had been ordered for the wrong side! Again not the managers fault of course even though he placed the order. After telling him of the horrible experience we had with his company, he decided he would bash the company I work for as if it had anything to do with our experience buying furniture from him. Choice furniture is an inexperienced and unprofessional place to...
