Very interesting food. I've never tried Indian food before and I have mixed feelings, but I feel like it'll grow on me. I order Tandoori Chicken, which looks bomb as hell, and Shrimp Tikka Masala. The Masala itself was decent. It has a buttery and tomato flavor. There are lots of other spices in there I'm not familiar with that kind throw off the pallette. But it tastes GOOD enough that you feel like you'll get used to it. It's an acquired taste. The only problem with this dish is they cooked it too long, so the shrimp was rubbery. Well, that may not be their fault. I'm sure it continued to cook in the hot Masala as I waited on the delivery. Just keep that in mind. Any shrimp and chicken you get delivered will be IN the hot Masala and will keep cooking, potentially drying out, long after they finish making it and packing it up for a to-go or delivery order.
I ordered mine for delivery the first time, which is honestly a mistake if you aren't familiar with Indian food, because the restaurant gives you a lot of little sauces and I honestly had no idea what to do with them. I received another dip type of thing. I honestly couldn't tell if it was a dip for the cracker things they give you, or if it was another type of masala. It didn't taste the same as the one for the shrimp. Then there was also some pickled chilies and onions (spicy), some type of green puree that I had no clue what to do with, and another dark sauce that KIND of tasted like BBQ. So yea, as a person who's inexperienced with Indian food I didn't know what was meant for what.
Only other comments: I wish at least plain Naan bread was free. At least ONE piece for the sauces. But I didn't feel like paying $4 extra for it. Also, it'd be nice if their menu described their dishes just a little better. Like, maybe a better description of the flavors and spices used.
Other than that, decent place. Will try something different in the future. Was super interested in trying the Lamb Korma, but was too scared as a first choice lol.
