The food was overdone and not edible. We ordered the specials for Valentines day. The server Anthony was great. The only enjoyable aspects of the meal were the appetizer of cherry BBQ wings and the Apple Stilton salad. Not sure if I would go back.

Sarah was my Bar tender! Not only was she spot on with drink refills.. but had great suggestions and was a pleasure to talk to. This place is a little hidden gem to duck into a grab a drink and a bite!

Outstanding food, excellent service, cozy atmosphere. As expected in a place like this, prices are on the high side, but it's a great place to go for a special occasion.

The server was either on drugs or needed some for his mental issues. We never made it past coffee with our breakfast before we left and put in a complaint. Our server sighed in frustration as we sat in his section and told him we wanted coffee and water for breakfast. He never returned in the 17 minutes we waited while he had only 2 tables ALL TOGETHER. It was early and we are table three for the day, not busy or overwhelmed. This dude instead talked to himself in mumbles for 10 of the 17 minutes while he fumbled around and organized napkins RIGHT NEXT TO OUR BOOTH. This guy had three tables and forgot about one immediately, so he could talk to him self.... Would be a one star review if not for the cool host who sat us. The hotel is far too nice to have these kinds of things in the restaurant area. There are so many cool places to eat around traverse city, I would not waste my time...

I stayed here for a week at a conference, and I have no complaints. I was kind of terrified booking it after reading the reviews about cleanliness etc but my room was clean when I came in. I stayed on the 4th floor of the west wing, which is not pet friendly. So if you are not bringing a pet I would recommend getting a room where pets aren't aloud if you're concerned about it (I had friends who stayed on the 2nd floor, they didn't have any complaints).

The food in the restaurant was good but a little basic-- but the location is phenomenal and walking distance from downtown where there are countless bars, restaurants, dessert shops etc if you get tired of the food.

They were also very accommodating when the govt shut down happened and it threw a wrench in a lot of people's plans (given a lot of us were federal employees) I really...

This was a verrry saddening breakfast. We hand my parents (grandparents) here to visit from out of town. I have been going to Minerva's for years and this was just sad. We, the five of us, went Sunday, October 27th for breakfast at approximately 10:30 a.m. The waitress came and took our drink order and food order 10 minutes later. We waited 15 for our drinks (coffee and waters) then an additional 30 minutes for our food. Between that time (45 minutes) the wait staff DID NOT stop by our table once to refill our drinks or to let us know about the wait on our order. My significant other had to go to the wait station to get the water and coffee carafe and pour us refills. There was absolutely no communication from the wait staff to us the patrons. $100 on breakfast and extremely embarrassed that I suggested going to Minerva's for...
