Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Twin Falls

Very frustrated with my experience at this location. Placed a 350$ order plus large tip 14 hours before the order was needed for an office lunch I was catering. I showed up 30 minutes early to confirm the order and make sure it was all good and was told that the order was getting taken care of. The manager then let me know that orders placed the day before aren’t on their screen and that he had no access to the order. While they did rush to then start making the order, and I understand that this is a new restaurant with the catering not set up yet, I waited 1+ hours for my order to be ready and thus missed the lunch I was catering for an office. It makes no sense to be punished for placing an order very well in advance, and to leave a large tip, and to still not have it ready on time. I understand that a new restaurant does need time on its feet to get catering and large orders taken care of, but if I was to walk in and place the order 30 minutes before needed, that is rude on my part. I am not seeking to earn a reward or resolve this concern, but only expressing that this issue reflects poor on me in my profession and on Costa Vida. Will not be using for future...

I’ve worked most of my life in the restaurant biz. I live in the opposite side of town and didn’t even know there was a Costa Vida on Cheney until this morning when I had to take my car to Subaru. So tonight when I was picking it up, the hubs asked where I wanted to eat and so we went to CV on Cheney. It was a flurry of activity, lots of people there to eat and lots of people working. Food was great, service was quick. Turns out it was their opening night! They were knocking out of the ballpark! As a personal rule I never go to a new restaurant the first couple weeks they’re open while they work out the kinks… but this was a pleasant surprise and we’ll definitely be back! Great...

Very disappointed today at 11 am. We are fans of the one in Burley and will drive there from Jerome in the future or go to the competition in Twin. The atmosphere and service was less than a 1 with so many employees standing around talking and looked like a corporate employee sitting at a table watching? Also the portions of sweet pork we got on a salad and 2 enchiladas were very small and less than 1. Even when they weighed them??? Must be a shortage?
